Disappearing objects in the render window

Hello, I'm trying to make a fort in the Skyrim worldspace. But whenever I leave the co-ordinates with my camera all the large buildings/mountains are hidden. It's like when I press '1' and it disappears. So then I have to reselect everything and press 1 until I can see them again.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm sure there is a setting somewhere that I missed.

would like to know as well ... it's really a showstopper and an annoying bug , this makes me think that this isn't the version that the developers used to make the game , it's so annoying that slows down the work by 90% ....

This is one of the most annoying bugs, to overcome this issue i use F5 in order to refresh the window.
The problem are the random crashes that might happen on refresh.

Ok sad to hear that it is a bug and not something i missed. But what I do is just use F4, which shows the collision geometry. It's at least the outlines of the buildings :/

So is this confirmed to be a bug? all the apperaing disapperaing , popping in and out of stuff all the time is totally annoying they where betatesting for a month and they didn't spot this????

Pressing '1' will make selected objects vanish.

Press ALT + 1 to make all those objects re-appear.

You can also sometimes reload the cell using F5.

The render window loads 5x5 cells by default, so that low end machines won't be fried. When a large object crosses a cell border and has its pivot point on a cell that isn't within the 5x5 grid, then the object is unloaded with the cell, even though parts of it are on cells that are still visible. This especially affects the mountain objects that span 2-3 cells.

Set Grids to Load under File/Preferences/Misc or uGridsToLoad in SkyrimEditor.ini to 9 and the problem is almost gone.
Once you start to work on cell details having zoomed in to see 2x2 cells at max you'll almost never experience it again.

actually tome I just need to rotate the camera a little and all pops in and out appears and disappears ,and I have a high end machine set with 16 cells load and lods!

16 is actually 17 and absolute overkill, IMO. Still, I can scroll out completely and turn around without a single object vanishing.

Does it actually load 17x17 cells? Changing this value in the preferences menu is not permanent.

What are your render window settings? mine is about 1000 x 1000 in size, Clipping distance maxed, "Allow Render Window Cell Loads" active.

I have this same issue I'm fine till I leave the cell then things disapair

Are you talking about the render window TAB in Preference's? I don't see where you get 1000 x 1000 if not what TAB do you mean?
