I have played through this game with a friend via coop online. Stopped after completing the first 5 chapters over a few nights because the mic cutting off was really a bit too off-putting and we wandered to something different, hoping there would be a patch that would come in and fix the frustration of not even being able to communicate with eachother since the magic of trying a new coop game had far being outweightd by the frustrations brough up by the multiple flaws of the game, even if we had pre-ordered the darn thing.

We resumed playing tonight and went on to finish the game. At chapter 6-6, at what I assume is the final boss fight (the big boss standing out of the Sleg pool), the connection to Hunted Online was lost (3rd time tonight if I include my friend's 2, 1st for me) and I was prompted out of the game.

When I reloaded the game and was brough back to the main menu, I no longer had access to the Adventure menu... all the crucible items were gone and I had no monetary progress... not feeling too confident about this, I left and checked the saved game. It's there, but I'm starting to wonder if it's not just a reset of a new stats thing.

My friend hosted a game (I usually was the host) and while it allowed us to continue for the boss fight (to my relief) I had nothing (only basic bow and nothing else). On the 2nd try after my initial quick dispatchment, I managed to go into the Select menu to check on Elara's experience... she's as green as the moment I first loaded the game... all of it is lost!

Can anybody explain what this is all about or how to salvage my file?

If this cannot be salvaged, I am sending this to the scrap heap and am adding a few names to my list of companies never to give a shinny penny to in the future.
