I did manage to find the previous thread, but as it was at post 197 I figured I'd make a new one.

I recently bought Shadow of Chernobyl and also installed the Complete 2009 mod. I'm enjoying it so far. The atmosphere is amazing, exploring is alot of fun, and with the complete mod, the graphics look great. However, as the game is notoriously buggy, is there anything I shoud watch out for, even with the Complete mod installed? I've experienced one bug so far - my minimap/radar thing went blank. Mission arrows, NPC makers, everything, disappeared. Reloading fixed it though.

Sometimes you can't talk to npcs, they stay in permanent combat mode, but maybe complete fixed that.

They usually get out of that once all bodies in the area have been searched. Sometimes members of a squad will just wait in combat mode while their buddy searches the corpses.

This happened to me after a reload, like:

In the freedom base, I went to attack the Duty deserters, and the game glitched and freedom started to shoot me, so I reloaded to the freedom base and they were all in combat mode but I hadn't accepted the mission

Has there been any word on STALKER 2?

Other than the fact that it's going to be multiplatform, I haven't heard anything.

Apparently there's going to be a Shadow of Chernobyl Complete 2012 mod release in the future, I wonder what kind of crazy stuff the guy has planned for it. The current one looks amazing already.
