Disintegration

I'v made a powerful enemy that uses lightning and the chances of disintegration are huge but when I test him out and he vaporizes me I'l fall through the floor and into the void.

Why is that?

Maybe it can't be done in first person. Try forcing 3rd person on the player before the desintegration.

I've actually got an NPC (massively high leveled, exper/master level spells in frost and lightning) and I straight up turn into a pile of glowing ash.

First time I ever saw it and was like, 'Oh my, that's awesome.'

Just have to tone him down a bit... 3 sec lightning blast and dead. Probably OP.

ampego - How wood u go about doing that? as soon as it happens your in 3rd person
manukind - Is that in a cell that u'v made? How did u not fall through the floor?

How did you go about making the enemy disintigrate you?

Im trying to make a Vampire script where Vampires disintigrate on death and havent figured out how to get it working.

To force 3rd person: Game.ForceThirdPerson() .

To disintegrate: You have a great example in the script source reanimateashpile.PSC.

It's something that Lightning naturally duz but if u pull certain properties from lightning and add it to what you want it to do then it shood work out for u (I can't tell you what the properties are cos I dont know them but it shoodnt be hard to figure out tho, I'l have a look and get back to u with that)

Nah, nothing seems to work, and what bothers me the most is that this shoodnt be happening, is it sumthing to do with collision?
Is there any way to disable disintegration safely if a new version of lightning is made? I dont wanna get rid of it absolutely but just for this particular npc and the spells that he casts.

Weird, I've made a cell, it's not linked to the world yet, and I have no problem with collision OR havok. I have some clutter (need more) and I impact it and roll it around and crap. Have had no problems with the floor, either. I haven't NavMesh'd it yet, so the NPCs don't wander, but they are also in the cell where I placed them.
