Dissapointed there's no annoying comic relief character?

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:32 am

I know some people mention the annoyingness of Naziim and/or Cicero. But there's nothing about either of them that really rival a certain yellow haired wood elf from Oblivion that has inspired thousands of youtube videos. Maiik (spelled wrong I'm sure.) Is pretty funny, but he should be expected. I know Skyrim is supposed to be sort of darker than Oblivion or Morrowind, but TES is sort of famous for their occasional hatable yet lovable characters. Anyone else somewhat dissapointed by this? Perhaps there will be someone interesting in the upcoming DLC.

Judging by the frequency with which I Foo'd the Roh Dah out of my companions or fell off of things and tumbled off of mountainsides, you could make a strong argument I was the comic relief in my playthrough.

Lydia seems to have taken that role in Skyrim, just for different reasons.

Haha nice.
Anyways, I don't really see the need for another adoring fan. Where would he come into the story? I just can't see it in skyrim's setting.

Speaking of M'aik, I was out in the mountains once, and I spotted what I thought was a couple of mages battling. After interrupting them and dispatching the remainder, I proceeded to try and find the other mage to loot, only to find the funny Khajiit getting up off one knee. Tough cat. I love his tongue in cheek comments.

Nope
The Adoring Fan was the only character in any TES game who I felt fits the role you discribe and I just found him irritaing
By all means have characters who can be amusing like Crassius Curio in MW but let them be something more than comic relief

Every character is comic relief one in this game:

Vex: Finish that job and i may have something for you.
*exits conversation*
Vex: Hey where are you going? We have work to do!
:lmao:

Not to mention the good hammer that she used in the cloud district very often, until i took an arrow in the knee :P

I am so glad there is not an annoying Bosmer in this game.

I like wood elves, just not the annoying ones.

Plenty of comic relief all over the place in Skyrim especially the little children mouthing off and clobbering each other.

I don't know how many 'epic speeches' I've listened to in this game that lose their epic quality due to the yawning of Lydia in the background.

in skyrim they are so pimp, they look like they could actually be badasses, i'm glad bethesda stopped using the two races (orc, and wood elf) as jokes

Yes I miss that little wood elf... Am I the only one who thinks him saying he was so tough and then running away at the sight of a mudcrab was hilarious?

I'm bummed about this actually. I have no short Bosmer to direct my anger at.

In Morrowind they had the guy who had his pants stolen. Hainab's hijinks never got old.
