Thought it was interesting how the sticky thread up top said that a "small group" of 360 users were having the DLC problem. On another forum where I frequent, many users are having the issue, so I'm wondering how isolated it really is. I'm getting tired of waiting around, and don't want to start a new game, because I'm almost over 19 hours in (haven't even gotten to the strip yet, how sad), and I would hate to get the same message after starting the new game.

Anyway, I figure I would detail what was going on with me, so if someone working on a patch was reading this, they could get more info (since it's "top priority" and all):

1) If I go right to "Continue" from the start menu, the roulette wheel spins for about 3 seconds, and the game completely freezes (needs a hard reboot).

2) If I go to load the autosave (19:02), I get the DLC warning (roulette wheel spins for about 1 second). If I go to load the next 2 manual saves after that (18:24 and 18:09), I get the DLC warning.

3) If I load the next manual save (16:07), it starts up just fine!

Thought it was weird how those 3 saves give me the warning, but the one at 16:07 doesn't. Also, I have the Caravan Pack. Just thought I'd share so I can get back to my game instead of actually being productive with my life.

I don't know what to say about your problems man.... mostly I've just ran into the game freezing up from time to time. Could be something with the DLC... I got the Classic Pack myself ( love the weathered 10mm pistol, and the canteen is useful on hardcoe). hopefully you'll have it fixed or figured out soon. good luck

Did you try clearing the cache? Be carfull though, some people say that can cause more trouble if your 360 is not connected to the internet.

I am also having the problem with saved games, I go to load it says the downloadable content is no longer there, load anyways??? so i select yes and it still wont work. This NEEDS to be fixed i am not restarting when i have 20 something hours already into the game.

This glitch is rumoured to be caused by the "Come Fly With Me" quest, did you recently complete it? If so, is the quest complete of the save that loads?



Clearing your cache without an internet connection can cause problems as your Xbox will not download any patches your your game(s).

ive only just signed up just to get on this form because mine is doing the same as you'res and its really irratating. Iam not the most furthest in the game but thats not the point and iam not starting again so iam not going to play the game intill they is a up date.

yeh the exact same things just happend to me its no good, none of my previous save are working either, stupidly anoying av put in almost 12 hours aswell. was a good game until this

No it happened to me about 5-9 hours after that quest,i think its random.

Yes, the save that CAN load properly has "Come Fly With Me" completed. I finished it a few hours before that save. And all I've been doing since the working save at 16:07 and those corrupted ones, was completing quests at McCarran and exploring the western part of the map (I finally got the DLC warning after my game froze and I tried to load the autosave, which was in The Thorn).

Also, I did, in fact clear the cache (I have it connected to the internet), and it did no good.
