DLC Idea: Alduin's Revenge

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 5:30 pm

Requirement: completion of MQ

This DLC is simple, you go on an investigation to find out why there is an uneasy feeling, in Skyrim, going to MR.P (if you spare him) says that Alduin's soul escaped Sovngarde and has tainted someone on Tamriel. During the investigation you collect ancient relics of the Great Dragon war. On the last quest when you come back to High Hrothgar, you find that the Grey beards were somehow assassinated except for Arngeir who explains that the blades came in and just walked up to the top of the throat of the world. When you get there you find out that Alduin's soul has entered Delphine, and unless you killed Paarthurnax, you have to fight her, Esbern and anyone else you made into Blades members (this removes the essential tag any blades members that have it). during the fight, P-man joins in and gets fatally wounded by Delphine/Alduin Voice attack. after the battle, P-man asks you to put him out of his Misery. if you do, Arngeir asks what is going on, and you can tell him. Arngeir then names you The Avatar of Talos.

any thoughts?

Well, I personally think it's better than some other stuff floating around. I won't buy DLCs though, so my opinion means nothing.

Sounds pretty good. I'll be glad to finally be able to kill Delphine and Esbern but it svcks that I'd have to kill Paarthurnax :(

No offense but I think that's pretty funny... Alduin entering Delphine. If you can explain to me why Alduin would enter in such weak mortal body like Delphine? Sounds like an exorcist ripoff to me. What makes her so important anyways? Other than being a blade member of course. Sorry but I can't possibly see the Greybeards getting assassinated, especially from from her... even with Alduin. I can't see it happening.

I hope you're joking because I hope this doesn't happen. I don't mean to sound harsh but I don't like this idea.

maybe it could use some refining, but the idea was mainly, something is wrong in Skyrim, and the player figures out that it has something to do with Alduin, maybe something to do with him trying to come back to life would work better.

honestly, i do not think Alduin would take a mere mortal defeating him lying down.

Ideas always need refining. Yours is still MAGNITUDES better than other things floating around.

Oooh, what about the highly-anticipated mother of all DLC's:

A bug-free and patched Skyrim!
Oh man, I decap myself.
