DLC ideas: The Night Terrors and Hircine's Fury

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:24 am

Night Hunters
A group of powerful vampires has been jumping and killing dragons, imperial, and stormcloak patrols. The Jarls of skyrim has send huge raid groups into the night, but none has returned. As the dragonborn you must track these vampires back to their lairs and stop them. You must also form a alliance between the stormcloak, imperial, and dragons to counter this threat, Quest starts once you found out all the greaybeards are dead with a note left by a vampire from the group.

Hircine's Fury
The daedric god of the hunt has returned! he has unleashed his legions of powerful werewolfs and other were creatures into the wild, killing everything they see. But Hircine also has other plans, he has enslaved the dragons and has turned them into Weredragons, humanoid dragonlike monsters even stronger than Alduin himself. You must somehow find a legendary divine silver sword made from the gods, only than would you be able to even kill the Weredragons. The final showdown would be a epic clash between the Dragonborn and Lord Hircine's avatar.

So...
an alliance between the Stormcloaks, Imperials and dragons.

How would that work.

Well Alduin is gonna have to ally eventually or else more and more of his dragons would get jumped by the vamps, including himself once he has no more dragons protecting him.

Vampires can't fly.

Vampires could jump them once they land and drain the life out of them, during the day vamps lose but at night vamps wins.

Who said dragons had to land? They could just keep flying using firebreath and such.

Yuck. How 'bout a DLC featuring quest lines for both good and evil characters? Shocking concept, I know. Still can dream though.

Both concepts involve super-amazingly-powerful creatures that just dont really make sense, i mean, really, super vampires? a dragon could easily kill about 20 vampires just by flying around and using fire breath a bunch.
Come on now,were-dragons?!?! No offense, but that is probably one of the most ridiculous things ive heard.
But i do feel a little harsh, I mean at least you're trying.

They've already made an expansion about Hircine and fighting one of his aspects. It's called Bloodmoon.

I'd like to have a smart, intelligent storyline that doesn't inevitably end in some "OMG EPIC" fight. Just give me a decent story with real characters.

a "weredragon" is called a Dragoon isn't it ?

also id prefer teh next DLC to be storyless and just kind of there and let the player make of it what they will

I think both of these make no sense since SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER: you kill Alduin and there are very few dragons after that, at least for me it is like that.
I like the idea of a DLC that fleshes out vampires and werewolves since I feel they were half-assed, no offense to Bethesda because they did a good job in other parts of the game.

I think both of these are failed ideas in the fact that they don't offer a new large map and environment to explore.

The answer is a sincere, emphatic, one hundred percent definitive, never-been-so-sure-of-anything-in-my-life, unequivocal hell NO

Edit: Is this even serious? How the hell does people even come up with this crap?

alduin does not plan on taking over the world he wants to EAT IT so there is no chance he would ally with his mortal enemies (all of nirn) to beat something he plans on eating anyway and not even the acient vampries are strong enough ,lore wise, to beat a single dragon, much less a hundred or how ever many alduin has revived at the time this happens (not to mention they CANNOT be killed permanently by anything but a dovakiin). no vampire clan is going to just go bat-[censored] crazy and attack everything in sight because it would mean their death when their food source runs out (and attract the eyes of the order, leading to their death) and most clans do not even approve of the "kill them all and drink bad, cold, dead blood" method, almsot all are some-what stealthy in thier approach (whet-fang put their "cattle" to sleep and keep them alive with magic while feeding, The Order are nobles who feed off of their town in the night, ones from valenwood pretend to be a child in a family [whose child they killed and replaced] untill time to feed, and this list goes on with the sneaky methods). besdies
Spoiler
at least 2 out of 3 of those things are taken out of the equation after you beat the main quest and civil war quest lines

for number two: hircine already has his hounds, the last thing he needs (or probably wants) is more, and i worship hircine!! what kind of bull what that be to send a hound (even though i would like a different were-beast [werevulture or werecrocodile perhaps] and i hate the process of gaining my abilities because that quest-line is something i did not want to do) againt his lord and master, it would not work well.

edit: a typo or two and another reason why your idea is bad cant work

You again? And you brought more of these weird ass ideas. Weredragons? Don't you think werelions, werecrocodiles, werevultures, werewolves, werebears and weresharks are enough? And why we must always be the "hero" and fight the "bad guys". Can't we join these ( what YOU consider to be bad guus) people instead of fighting them to save the world? Screw the world, join in with the predators and feed off of the population of cattle and walking sacks of meat.

alduin does not plan on taking over the world he wants to EAT IT so there is no chance he would ally with his mortal enemies (all of nirn) to beat something he plans on eating anyway and not even the acient vampries are strong enough ,lore wise, to beat a single dragon, much less a hundred or how ever many alduin has revived at the time this happens (not to mention they CANNOT be killed permanently by anything but a dovakiin). no vampire clan is going to just go bat-[censored] crazy and attack everything in sight because it would mean their death when their food source runs out (and attract the eyes of the order, leading to their death) and most clans do not even approve of the "kill them all and drink bad, cold, dead blood" method, almsot all are some-what stealthy in thier approach (whet-fang put their "cattle" to sleep and keep them alive with magic while feeding, The Order are nobles who feed off of their town in the night, ones from valenwood pretend to be a child in a family [whose child they killed and replaced] untill time to feed, and this list goes on with the sneaky methods). besdies
