Yeah cool! Day 2 they are going to release DLC info. If that was case it would already have to have it on disc and I know how XBox players love that.

This NEEDS to be free the first time around if they want people to stick with the game, and try it out.

If they gain the reputation of valve of alot of post-release support without having to pay, it'll get alot of popularity.

At the very least it should get 2-4 new maps, and outfits/Guns for free initially. Maybe a game mode

Funny thing is, I remember playing Killzone 3 and they pretty much released DLC news on their plans for it instead of fixing balancing issues.

Of corse they are the same maps, because they wanted to create a game which blurres the edges between Single and Multiplayer.

I think that DLC for this game could be amazing. New outfits and maps. Maybe even new campaign missions. But first things first they NEED to fix the lag. I need to be playing this game online but the lag is literally unplayable. It's impossible to play through the servers.

there is a difference between blurring the lines and bein to lazy to make different sections of the game..Borderlands blurred the lines...they should have simply made it to where people could pop in and out of your game..not try to make the game look bigger by adding another set of menus for the exact same game play..you can do co=op in the campaign menu and get the same results as free play..come on dont try to make a tree look bigger by nailing on fake branches ...

I respect your opinion don't get me wrong but this game is very great for what it is. In my opinion I love the game and wish the best of luck to splash damage in the future.

Yeah and I really find it confusing why everyone picks on Brink and Homefront for these problems. Most games that I played online on launch and didn't have a public beta had pretty bad lag. But yeah you're right the lag is very, VERY bad. And most people aren't even giving the game a chance because of this. It's sad to see a game that you've been excited for for over a year just get criticized for the same problems that very popular games (like black ops) had.

Games take long enough to make as it is... and the game is pretty creative and fun in my opinion.

As much as I love Brink I do feel that it is lacking in a lot of areas I think in order for them to keep a lot of players they will have to act fast and get some DLC out quick. As refreshing as the objective based multiplayer is (since I used to play CoD TDM all the time) I feel they could really use more content with different game modes as well as more campaign story, in my opinion I'm still loving the 8 maps they do give and will continue to for a while but I would still love to see some DLC with different story missions, challenges and versus modes as well as new maps. This game is great however, I think they will really need to do a lot of work with updates and DLC to keep people happy.

I personal think they should add a DLC. I enjoyed the game, but it seemed way to short. The campaign was really quick to complete and it seemed like they could have done so much more with the storyline/campain. The challenges were also limited, and playing them with friends was really pointless. The challenges done in co op should either unlocked the current weapon attachments or unlocked different attachments specificily for co op. I really enjoy this game just kind of feels like I paid $60 for the Brink Beta. The game just feels unfinished in some aspects and rushed.

My DLC Wish List:
1) More maps and added campaign missions
2) More challenges
2) Some type of lobby/match making for online play(Right now the game lags so bad that playing with randoms is kind of out of the question. Its has potential for private matches to be fun with 8v8 in its current state, but its a pain in the *** to round up all the people)
3)Perhaps more levels and abilities

The lagg problem is a given and should be fix quickly. If you do a private match and invite people there is no lag issues from my experience. This is a huge inconvenience for people to round up people to play against, but a way to enjoy lag free games.

Ohhh You mean when games were on PC and everything came free? and then console came out and people happily paid for "DLC" (a term coined for console)

lol, yeah, these days when they realise the forgot to put something in they then make you pay for the update(DLC) haha :S

The DLC needs to be Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, plus more open maps so i can stretch my legs a bit.
I want to slide tackle people without having to worry about some random door getting blown up, lol.

another nice thing in the DLC would be a 5th class with no special abilities except [censored] kicking! (or maybe holding an extra weapon)
