On my DLC wishlist

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 3:38 pm

Some of these I am not sold on, and I hate DLC to begin with, but I agree on #1. As silly as marriage is, it still bugs me that I can't pick J'zargo. Or any redguard. Some of the common voices could be used by modders to make all characters using them marriable. But for a race like the Khajiit who still have a distinct voice type, or unique voiced characters like Karliah, it's not something that can be smoothly modded in by anyone but Bethesda.

All the other stuff I can think of is either incredibly obvious ("durr add a quest maybe") or something modders can do just as well and therefore I would never consider getting from Beth (female mannequins come to mind, and companion improvements). Maybe a DLC to let men and women wear the female and male versions of outfits (plus make some NPCs wear the switched clothes), since if modders do that instead, it will inevitably be only for some bizarrely-proportioned and porm-oriented body mod.

Hammerfell for a proper expansion though, mir?

5- to be able to buy a house that has a secret treasure room where i can drop all my gold and jewels and when nearly full i can dive in like scrooge mcduck

This.

A DLC that allowed us to drop gold and a treasure room to put it in--all I need. Though I would love to see a DLC that allowed us to fight/join the Thalmor in Hammerfell or Skyrim. That and let us become King of Skyrim and/or Emperor. Hell we all are playing Tiber Septim's replacement in a way.

:/ No if you were king why would you go adventuring and stealing things from poor people?

1. Hircine's Realm DLC. Hunt in his Hunting Grounds.

2. Vampire clan DLC. Order vampires of Cyrodiil vs Volkihar.

No werewolvs vs vampire. Stuff doesn't make sense in Elder Scrolls.
This right here! And maybe a DLC that adds more story quests to all the guilds.

You have to store "taxes" somewhere if you're King eh?

I would like the DLC to not be overpriced like it has been with the last two Fallout games.

Beyond that, I would love Fighter's Stronghold 2.0 - that kind of space combined with the ability to display items, trophies (I want to mount those darn witches' heads), and stack books in a library would make for one awesome home.

That, plus some related quests once you have the place up to speed - something like the Knights of the Nine: gather named heroes and the like to your cause and perhaps adventure with them on quests or dispatch them out into the field like Mazorga the Orc to do some good.

Anything which makes the world more dynamic and lived-in.

Oh, alright...and definitely would love if any of the wild rumors about traveling to Morrowind were true. The idea blows my mind, and a chance to revisit parts of the provence (Solstheim, Vvardenfall, etc.) would be amazing.

Hircine's hunting grounds is a good one, make it into like Shivering Isles.

They have so many options, we cant possibly know what they'll do. Maybe we'll see Vivec appear, or the brief coming of the Dwemer. The Thalmor are too big for a DLC but would love to see more of them.
But lets think, they did a Daedric Prince expansion, Werewolves, Knights of the Nine, Tribunal. Maybe they'll do something more unexpected like Travelling to one of the provinces of Atmora or the Falmer uprising.

Whatever its going to be, lets hope its going to be good.

Okay, so, let me get this straight. You want to PAY for DLC that allows you to run and jump at the same time--even though you CAN run and jump at the same time like you could in Oblivion, you just can't SPRINT and jump at the same time. Is that right?

You know what I want for DLC? An expansion pack. I want one or two or three big expansions, like Bloodmoon/Tribunal/Shivering Isles. Big DLC is the best DLC. I'll pass on the "run and jump DLC"

Todd Howard already said that they will be releasing expansions, no more Horse Armor DLC.

I want something either with the Falmer or Thalmor

I'd rather go to Hammerfell or High Rock in an expansion. The Thalmor would be the main villain.

I like this idea a lot! I basically want to kill them all. :P

Id love to see a Fight Arena type DLC.

On some island just a bit north of Dawnstar is an island with a massive Arena, 5x types larger then the one in Oblivion. Give it like 2 options to play with, 1v1 or 5v5 battles.

- Will add more on this later

I love a DLC where you go back to Cyrodiil or Morrowind. If you break the game the entire landmass for Cyrodiil is there, and all of Vvardenfall and most of Morrowind. That would be awesome!

I would just like my game to be fixed :(

There are too many broken quest lines and glitches to think about paying more money for this game, which makes me sad, because this was an incredible game until these glitches started showing up.

Hopefully something similar to Battlehorn Castle from Oblivion, with features like a large library (to store all of our books), an armoury (with a good amount mannequins), a trophy room (where the animals and creatures you've killed can be displayed), a kitchen (much more useful now we can cook), a basemant (with a secret treasure room), a combat room (with the trainer), a winery (with an alchemy table), stables, and guard barracks (with guards), plus the awesome private quarters with plenty of chests and display cases.

Seeing as we need some awesome houses, the "castle" idea would be exactly what is needed, especially if we need a fair amount of gold (say 50,000) so that people who have the money can buy it and relax in their own fortress. It would be even better if it were located in the Fall Forest near Riften or the Pine Forest near Falkrearth, which would make it so much more beautiful.

Other than that, an expansion that explores another Daedric Prince's Plane of Oblivion (with a similar area size to Point Lookout DLC from Fallout 3) would be great.

Actually, we can look at some potential DLC based on what there was for Fallout 3:

FALLOUT 3 DLC 1 - Operation: Anchorage
This was essentially a combat simulation of one of the great battles in the Fallout universe.

SKYRIM DLC 1 - The Great War
How about some kind of magical simulation (as stupid as it sounds) in which you particpate in the battle for the Imperial City? It lets you fight the Thalmor and travel back to Cyrodiil!

FALLOUT 3 DLC 2 - The Pitt
Adds a new area to explore.

SKYRIM DLC 2 - Hircine's Hunting Grounds
Mentioned in other posts, this could really work.

FALLOUT 3 DLC 3 - Broken Steel
Increases level cap, continues where the main story left off.

SKYRIM DLC 3 - Thalmor
Contiue the fight against the Thalmor based on who you sided with in the Civil War.

FALLOUT 3 DLC 4 - Point Lookout
Adds a new area to explore.

SKYRIM DLC 4 - World expansion
Adds a new area to explore, such as an island in the far north or the area of Orsinium, and so on.

If Bethesda did the same styles of DLC as they did in Fallout 3, the DLC in Skyrim would be great.

I for sure want something to do with the Thalmor I feel as if they left them at a dead with us.
I know that they could do that for future games, but more interaction and quests with them would be awesome, ( especially since I'm a High Elf;) )

I wouldn't mind a few Daedric quest either, or even some more Mythic Dawn quests like starting them up again! Maybe even visit "Paradise" again.

Maybe something more to do with the Civil War? I like the idea of becoming maybe a Jarl of High King.

Visiting Cyrodiil, Mororwing, Summerset Isle, or High Rock would be cool too!

First just fix the issues, any DLC now wouldn't probably work.

After that, then the Castle would be nice. Not just given to us or bought, something we could build up. Eventually developing it into its own economy.

I know it won't happen but I would love a co-op for this game. LOL

**Maybe mounted combat would be nice too.

One of the DLC's that Beth should make is one that takes you to the island the piijic order live on. The island is torn apart by a few splinter factions that each believe the order should act differently. One side thinks that the current "lets just monitor the world and act occasionally" method is good while one thinks that they know best and should be allowed to force people to do what they tell them. The other group is a bit more radical and wants to start gaining power in Tamriel in a mannor similar to the thalmor. The island appears in the sea of ghosts (or a portal to it) and the player needs to either help one side, or help a group of thalmor on the island destroy the order for good. The island, dispite being in a freezing ocean, should be a summy and warm place (think Atlantis mixed with Shivering Ilse) with many side missions and new gear to find.

Another DLC could be to return to Solthiem. Morrowind, in this time of great need, decided to trade the island for much needed goods from the East Empire company. The local Dunmer population does not like the Imperial presence on the island and tries to rebel. You arrive and, with the imperial forces already retreating, try to settle the stiuation. Eventually, after dealing with the ones responsible for the violence, you can ask either Ulfric or Talius to establish a military fort there to continue maintaining the peace. You also get to rebuilt Raven Rock (in a way). The town is now a castle with a community surrounding it. Through quests and donations of your own gold, you can bring the town to an almost city status. New shops, homes, farms, guards, and even port will be add to the town. Radiant quests could allow you to make rulings over the people as the new Jarl.

And the ability to actually DO stuff with the blades. Like gather more men and do more quests

Horse armor
An amulet or something besides cure disease potion to prevent turning into a vampire
More quests like 'Blood on the Ice' and 'A night to remember'
Unlimited carrying capacity
No friendly fire

1) Be able to build a manor/fortress that is huge from the ground up (with a quest line attached). Just like in Morrowind. I am unsure why this was ever removed!
2) More interesting spells. I ended up dropping my mage character since he got so boring after I turned level 30
3) Some sort of defense/attacking campaign where your choices actually matter in the grand scheme of things. The civil war was one of the worst questlines of any TES game in the fact that nothing you did really mattered.

My personal wishlist:

1.) More female Argonians to marry since there is currently only one (if my name and sig didn't give it away I always play as an Argonian).2.) Either one of two things: either custom outfits to fit my Argonian so my tail doesn't clip, or the ability to play as a tailless Argonian so I can use the normal stock outfits without ugly clipping.

3.) A second map area (like in the Shivering Isles expansion) that gives us access to Blackmarsh, Argonian occupied mainland Morrowind, Valenwood, High Rock, Orsinium, Elsweyr, or the Summerset Isles. Or better yet a location on the continent of Akavir?

4.) The ability to change your appearance mid-game (could be passed off as magic obviously). By this I mean change your face, skin tone, and weight, but not your gender or race. Sometimes you feel like trying a different appearance but really don't want to start over.

5.) The return of the unarmored skill, along with acrobatics, as I play with little armor as it is ugly and slow, and I liked jumping over obstacles in previous games.

Those are my main wishes
At least you have one! There are no bosmer, you can marry, female, or male.

For me:
1:The abbician iles.
2:I want to beat some thalmor butt in a new war.
3 Dont get me wrong, I love my markarth house, but Id realy like a "battle horn castle" in this game.Except design it like a real castle. I need a home truly fit for a dragonborn.
4:Some form of spell making
5.There's suposedly a northern continet.That sounds cool.
6. Lets go to highrock,or hammerfall, or go back to cyrodiil, or morrowind(if Im not mistaken, the maps are allready in the game).
7. Last, but not least, horse armor.Im being serious.Other than shadowmiere, all the horses are realy weak, as in, geting killed by an ice wolf while im dealing with a frost troll weak.

Thats all I got for now. I have to admit, the thing I want the most is a castle in the snowy mountans, with windows(working ones that turn dark at night <_< and arnt extra bright 24/7 ala solitude house), a great hall with a big hearth and throne, good defence, and a tower bedroom for me  .

My DLC Wishlist...

  • A huge house with places to display stuff.
  • A house with a forge/grindstone/workbench.
  • The option to divorce/remarry/polygamy (multiple wives/husbands).
  • Chests to have categories (My Whiterun chest has so much stuff in it that it becomes an hourly task just to find one set of armor).
  • Shadowmere to not die or be able to be resurrected.
  • A one time option to reperk.
  • Spellmaking would be nice but I'm 99% sure it will never happen.
  • More NPC's to marry! My Bosmer has no bosmer to marry!
  • More war quests. Huge battles are wicked fun.
  • Unique Armor and Weapons that you can't beat with alch/ench/smith loop.
  • Some more shouts would be cool to have.
  • Be able to join the Thalmor (even though I despise them).
