Does any other Dev studio make games this good?

I got a few thoughts milling around. I ask the topic question cos Bethesda seem to be the best at making these huge open world environments for ous to play in. Now, I've had a good few glitches in my 415 hours and yes, an un-completeable thankfully minor quest line, plus periods of lagging and a very busy HD which will most likely end up killing my console. However, there is NOTHING out there for ps3 that comes close to this level of immersive realism. It is very very sad that Bethesda has not seen fit to fix the game properly because it could have been the best game on the ps3.
More worryingly though is what if the bug issues combined with stinking press reviews persaude Bethesda to NOT make any futher TES installments, afterall, so many folk say they'll never buy another Bethesda offering (and probably rightly so) and the gaming public at large are now well aware of these issues thanks to the major gaming mags. Bethesda never comment on the future of their intent for game writing - look how secretive they were about Skyrim for all those years it was in Development! So, even if we lived in a perfect world where Skyrim was 100% and hailed worldwide by one and all, there would still be no guarrentee that we would ever see a TES VI in 5 years or so........ As it is, in our less than perfect world where Skyrim plays like [censored]e for a lot of folks and its failing are shouted from the hilltops at a deaf developer (except for the freezing in water glitch, i'll grant you - for some strange reason they chose to listen to the wails of anguish on that one!) we may well find that Skyrim heralds the death knell of the huge action RPG that we have all wanted to embrace.
So, where am I going with this? Well, I'm saying that although we all feel; let down and justifiably angry, we still want and need Bethesda to do their thing as only they can (currently). Whats the alternative? Nothing! No-one does it this good even with all the in-game problems. I for one still want to get my hands on a TES VI - and pray (probably in vain) that it will be ok - this time (knowing it won't - ha).

Bethesda don't care a jot about a handful of moaning discontents on this site, compared to millions of units sold, but they must (or darn well should) care a lot about bad press from several gaming mags cos that hurts their rep and future sales potential publicly and loudly. But what Bethesda should really worry about, very serously, is the possible emergence of some rival developer that decides to beat them on their home turf, by creation their own version of a huge open world RPG with deep mythology, back story and great stories, graphics, AI etc etc. It wouldn't be TES, but it could be as good (or better?) and most of all it could be developed with software that actually works as intended and we all migrate to the new world in blissful happiness - in a very short time, TES and maybe Bethesda themselves would be history - a sad forgotten failure that just coludn't live upto the promise of the dream. Until that happyday we are stuck with the only developer that at least aims losely, to give us the gaming world we desire. Looking forward then, to TES VI................
