I found them "blah" in appearance and their Power does not amuse me, so no.

I play Redguard, but like the Imperials since they remind me of the Romans.

I`ll probably try them next.

I'll get to it eventually, but damn do the Imperial presets look ugly in this game. I mean, I though they were supposed to be based off the Romans, half of them look like Blacks and Mexicans.

I ALWAYS play as an Imperial. I will probably NEVER play as an elf, orc, or redguard.

Even though the Imperial presets do kind of svck, that is what is fun about the character creator. Messing with all the sliders in finding what you like best. I made an Imperial ranger and absolutely love him. Best thing about Imperials is that they can pretty much be anything in this game. Whether its a mage or paladin, it doesnt seem out of place. At least thats how it is in my opinion...

I ussueally have a dilemma between imperials and dunmers (sprouting all the way back to morrowind). But right now im playing imperial nightblade type character. I was gonna choose dunmer but it wouldnt make alot of sense having a dunmer dovakiin. (dont be mad dunmer lovers, my nerevar was a dunmer) As for background, his father was a far too trusting nord who got involved with an imperial witch (remeber those naked nords on the side of vvardenfell roads?) After getting what she wanted she killed the nord and raised their son (my charcter) But i doubt anyone cares about my bio. Cheers for being imperial like me. Good for the empire, good for all, eh citizen?

I don`t use presets. Especially not in a game I might be in for 50+ hours.

Imperials make great 'jack of all trades' characters. That could also be their downside because you might want to focus less on one skill and not have something fully mastered. My first and only character is an imperial. Click my sig (I took a snap shot from my phone since I play on Xbox, looks better on the TV than the photo )

My main is an Imperial, I got him to look pretty good after playing with sliders a bit.

I have had a couple of Imperials in Skyrim. Along with Nords they are my favorite race.

I play as an Imperial. I use them as a typical "knight". Their racial bonuses have definitely come a long way from Morrowind in putting them into the knight category, so they're better at integrating into that role (in my opinion).

I never really use their personality bonuses that much, so in that sense they are kind of useless in that department, so if you're going for a fighter go elsewhere (but if you wanted max stats as fighter, it's always been the case that you go elsewhere at the start). I found the extra bits of gold pretty neat. Though probably useless in the long run, it did make it nice for character development.

Though I probably fall closer on the "role play" end of the spectrum.

I've always favored playing as an Imperial throughout the Elder Scrolls game series.

I've always played Imperials. Well, ever since they were allowed. I was usually Nord before that.
