underwater segments?

I don't know why... but since from when i was little i used to HATE going underwater inside games, mostly because out of fear of what might be inside the water (playing lara croft with sharks all over the place, or duke nuken, maybe some other game, but right now, those are the ones that come to mind).

And guess what? I found an underwater segment, a sunken ship near the winterhold college... since i can't even fight back inside neither can i see well inside the water since the weather is snowy wich somehow affects visibility underwater too, i can't see nothing...

Can someone tell me if there's anything worth AT ALL inside that sunken ship?

You'll be fine. Crabs and fish are all you have to worry about - unless there are ghost pirates inside that ship. :whistling:

Nothing scary in the water but tiny, piss-weak slaughterfish.

Well that certanly didn't help me gather up courage ._. i might as well just move inside as fast as i can... the only deal right now is not being able to see right inside the water...

Yeah but... i'm actually afraid of getting inside the water itself... i know it sounds strange, it's kinda like a phobia... but only works when i do it inside games, not being able to see inside the water worsens it futher, and it's deep ._. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

My good sir, may I offer you this shiny necklace of waterbreathing? Never fear a watery grave again!

I get annoyed by the occasional glitches of air pockets. Especially in deep pools where I drop like 15 feet and have to find a path to get back to the surface. At least I can't drown while it's going on.

Yes. Yes! Yes I feel not so alone now. Tomb Raider: Underworld was a right bloody nightmare for me! The very first level you have to SWIM in an ocean with SHARKS! Oh lord. OH the daylights left me. I was looking around in Skyrim, North of Winterhold. Swiming around is not an option for me. It is serious faced platforming from iceberg to iceberg. Then occasional breaks and instant fast travel upon obtaining what I need.

*sighs* Aquaphobia. I can baaaarely even sit in a tub without being annoyed by the water >.<

You girls can rest assured that most of the items you find in skyrims shipwrecks and water is pretty much junk. I've explored a few ships so far and it has never paid off

I got a hold of the Volsung mask, adding water breathing (and some other nice perks) - first thing I did was go skinny dipping in the northern seas.... and got bored very fast! Nothing scary lurking down there.. oh wait, salmon!
I've also gone down to the shipwrecks and only found junk... and lots of salmon, and dangerous clams :P

I do hate water. Couldn't explore any ship for more than 30 seconds.

Actually I have aracnophobia and it really makes me ship in my pants. (got it? Ship.. Thread? Aw.. whatever)

As Argonian I love the water. As a matter of fact, when I explore the world I stick to rivers, lakes, the sea. As a marsh warrior I'm specialized in the arts of water-warfare and there's no enemy I fear when I'm near the water - including dragons.

But if you're not into diving you're not missing much in terms of loot. Chests are extremely rare and give poor standard loot. It's not even worth spending time getting to them, but if you want them, they are always in predictable places from what I've seen so far. They are never in the middle of the wilderness.

I agree.. most valuable 'water loot' I have found was a piece of armor from a skeleton that was lying in the stream of a waterfall. For hidden treasures I always look in obvious places and treasure maps.
