Yep, and then they will say it wasn't hard, just tedious.
That's because it wasn't hard. Just keep an eye on your environment and getting around the speakers isn't that difficult. And since it's environment never changes, it has crappy replayability. Last time I played through it, I didn't die from my collar a single time. I knew where all the speakers were and how to avoid them.
Let's think about this for a moment. What does it take to overcome the collar?
Primarily it takes being observant.
When you run into an area and your collar starts to beep, you pull back to a safe spot. Then, you look around for the source. The radios make a noise, so you zero in on that. If you can see it, you either shoot it or run in and turn it off. If you don't see it, you make a few exploratory probes into the danger zone. You run in, look around and run out. Repeat until you find it the source. Then run in and turn off or shoot it.
Repeat for every radio or speaker, except the shielded ones. For those, you either just have to run fast to get through the area or run to the terminal to switch them off.
It's not hard. It's not difficult. It's not a challenge. It just takes time. And the time is what makes it tedious.
