Does anyone have a hatred for something in Skyrim?

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 11:36 pm

The only thing that really gets under my skin are when the Dragons decide to spawn when I'm trying to complete a quest when I fast travel.

Or they end up KILLING someone I need in a town. The very first playthrough I tried, one killed the Armorer in Riverwood and I was pissed off LOL

Impossible.

Dragons only start spawning when you complete Dragon Rising and by then he is not needed.

Thalmor and Chaurus, as they inhabit many of the most interesting ruins/dungeons that I cannot go in because of the difficulty.

J'rahzir has no love for the Argonian. Nor does he have love for the Dunmer, nor any Elf type for that matter. The Elf is not to be trusted for their arrogance could become sand and this sand would fill the seas and lands as far as the eye can see and the feet may walk. From what do they deserve such arrogance that can destroy their lands, their culture, and their prayers? The Dunmer deserved what the Argonian has given and more.

This one agrees.

I have a grudge against most Dunmer for having a hand in the destruction of the Dwemer, and Giants since they keep attacking the orc strongholds. I actually feel bad for the falmer as I slaughter them because they never really got a fair shake in Tamriel.

I know my friend hates the rebels for numerous reasons, so what about you guys?

The Dwemer offed themselves. The Dunmer had very little to do with it. And Giants, they are attacking Orc strongholds? I certainly in 550+ hours have never seen that.

Ulfric

yes I liked him at first then after hearing him speak a few times he pissed me off

also the jarl's kid in whiterun ARRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

"another wanderer here to lick my father's boots... godd job"

"[censored] i JUST SAVED YOUR DADDY AND HIS CITY AND UR ASS FROM BURNING TO DEATH U BRAT"

Do the kid's quest and find out what is really happening. There are reasons for everything. Whining is just lame.

Thalmor. They are the only "bad guy" group that is not a result of wrongdoing by others. The Forsworn and Falmer are now twisted and should be put down, but they only became "evil" because of others.

I hate the bags under the eyes of all Dunmer. It's a very deep, strong, undiluted loathing.

I agree. Probably the same person who designed the male Nords. No one else looks that lame. So I guess I hate whoever Bethesda hired for this job. I drew better faces when I was 8 years old, on a sidewalk, with a rock.

Thalmor. That woman in Riften that keeps telling me to get out of her face, even though I've never been in it. Rude. Each and every guard that carries on about that sweet roll.

NPCs who I walk by and precede to tell me their life stories in a single sentence. Its seriously annoying especially when I'm not even looking at them.

I don't seem to have that. It is the first character in any game that I have ever spent time on appearance. Check the sig pic.

i hate not being able to:

turn off my position on the map
turn off auto-regeneration
toggle the different features on the hud and audio properly
play the game as an unarmored/h2h pacifist
play a hardcoe mode with MANY different elements
decline all quests if desired
put quest items in a specific, secure container
put quests on a submenu when not activated
decorate my house or manipulate objects properly

Dragons are more of a nuisance than a threat in this game (imo). Theres nothing more annoying than having a dragon pop up when your in the middle of a sidequest >_>. AND its right at a location you need to go!

Bah. A few Argonians and Khajiit criminals were kept as slaves. They pretty much deserved it.
And the Argonians were such damned cowards that only once Red Mountain had wiped out most of Morrowind's population did they send the entire damned populace of Blackmarsh to attack. Petty, spiteful and opportunistic trash that they are.

And while many Altmer certainly have that attitude, you speak foul untruths in attributing the same to the Dunmer who, among all things, just want to be left the hell alone.
As for the Bosmer and the Orsimer... they're both useless, so who cares about 'em anyway?

Bandit Chiefs. How come I can wade through a whole coven of mages firing spells and raising undead thralls, kill dragons and giants, struggle but survive against high level Falmer and Reavers, but get killed by a bandit?
Easy. You have a silly idea that all bandits are weak, stupid, and ill equipped. This is not true.

Classic example would be Robin Hood. A bandit by trade, and more skilled then trained knights.

I also had the silly idea that a dragon would be harder to kill than a bandit, however strong, clever and tooled up.

i'll give you bosmer and orcs being useless, glad we could agree about something. but the argonians could have done the exact same thing at the hight of dunmer power, they were provoked by a thalmor agent and only then did they launch an attack, arognians are docile despite our unrivaled abilities

Yes. The delusion that dragons are the end all of fantasy creatures is becoming a plague, really. Dragons are powerful, yes, this is why you cant kill them in one or two hits like a lowly grunt bandit or necromancer. Not to mention you are fighting only one, two at most.

Unrivalled at what, precisely?
Breathing underwater?
The Dunmer have spells for that.
Using spears? The Dunmer can do that too (unlike Imperials and Nords, apparently).
Assassins? The Morag Tong was always stronger than the Dark Brotherhood.
Magic? The oldest wizard in all Tamriel is a Dunmer, in case you forgot. No Argonian will ever be half the mage a Dunmer can be.
Swamps? Heck, we had the Bitter Coast until Red Mountain presumably incinerated it. Hardly an achievement either way.
Argonians really aren't good for much of anything besides manual labour.
