Does anyone play this game "realisticly"?

Post » Sat Jul 21, 2012 9:03 pm

For example. If during the course of a fight you take an arrow to the face. I can't stand it. I have to restart from my last save. It is my rabid O.C.D. rearing it's head I know but it does make the game more challenging. That is. If you want it to be more challenging. Warning: If you do play this way prepare for many moments of controller snapping frustration.

Not that realistically no. I think that would be more along the lines of a dead is dead character, but ( you ) deciding when they are actually dead, instead of allowing the game to do so.

I also roleplay, always. But if I would do it realistically, when I took an arrow in the face, I just flee to be "healed"...
or If you are hardcoe playing... you just die and your character is done there.
But accepting the world′s rules (if you shoot an npc in the face he is still clearly alive) ... I can live with it.
But I role play in many other aspects.

Welcome to the realm of Elder Scrolls roleplay.
Let's hope you don't play with one-life or you'd be creating a lot of new characters.

Well, I think if you were playing "realisticly" then an arrow to the face shouldn't cause a restart but your char should leave the battle, take some downtime and heal. I guess realisticly to me means like the Dead Is Dead style where if you die you are done and delete that character.

I try to, just not that far. :|
If my character has been up for to long i'll make him sleep, I try to eat food but my person must have starved to death at least 23 times.
