simple question (for the Bethesda employees reading, or anyone else), does Bethesda plan on creating a creation kit that will allow console players to enjoy mods?

Even if consoles eventually get mods, they will never get the Creation Kit. It's a tool designed to be used on a PC. The dev's made the game on computer. I cant imagine developing ON a console.

Mods, maybe eventually, they are working on it.

The CK itself? Nope.

No.

Sorry, Microsoft and Sony don't allow user-created content on their platforms. And even if they did, the Creation Kit is far too complex for a console controller.

The problem appears to be one of convincing MS and Sony of allowing mods, rather than convincing Bethesda. As for an editor, the Creation Kit is a Windows application - not a program that runs in Windows, but one that's constructed entirely around Windows architecture. Chances are neither console hard the hardware necessary to run it anyway.

This topic tends to attract a lot of problems so I'm going to go ahead and lock it. And if you want to get mods on consoles I'd suggest talking to MS and expressing your interest.
