Does Brand-Shei ever get out of jail?

I joined the Thieves Guild and of course Brand-Shei went to jail.

Does he ever get out? He's still there after a long time.

i think hes stuck in jail. I killed that mean riften armor trader and theres been no replacement for months. I did brand sheis quest and waited months and hes still in jail. its not looking good.

could have just botched it. just like dropped the ring on the ground and told brynjolf u lost it.

Nope. This is a known issue. Even if you open his cell door, he won't leave.
