Does Matching Set perk work with Forsworn armor?

I noticed my Armor Rating was 425 wearing a full set of Forsworn armor before I chose the perk. Chose the perk when I hit 70 in light armor. Looked at my Armor Rating, still 425.

It the same to me with the stormcloak officer armor.
