As you level your smithing skills, does the ore you tend to find in mines change? Or is iron always in the same mines, ebony in others, etc?

Wouldn't it be awesome though if we had a "Transmute Ore Vein" spell? Would be a very interesting adaption to the Transmute spell

Ore always spawns in the same places, and it respawns around once a month or so, if I'm not mistaken. A good place for a little ebony is Shor's Stone, FYI. I think theres 3 or for veins there, and no mobs to speak of after you clear it of spiders.
