so does it look washed out for you guys? the color seems to be off as well, like an increase in green hue on games/videos.

Well at least the new dashboard is better than the old one. Windows phone os is spreading. Could do without all the ads.

yeah mostly the colors are off, you notice it especially if you have a calibrated tv, everything seems to be rgb and 709 doesn't seem to change the colors like it did on the old dashboard.
