Does the goo and ash piles disapear?

Just need to know if they disapear now or they still a permanent landscape feature X D

Hopefully they plug something lke that into the ash/goo piles's script slots with their patch.

They should give consoles the most very basic geck controls such as reset delete respawn /this would solve majority of their problems easily

There are 2 types of corpses in FO:NV. Corpses of essential (not the technical term) NPCs where you need to loot something off the body for a quest, seem to be flagged to never vanish. Other corpses do vanish.

Whether that carries over to goo/ash piles, I'm not sure yet.

(The first category of corpses is handy because if you miss out on looting a quest item, you're often now stuck and can't complete the quest.)
