Don't Be Afraid of the Dark? Or Fright Night?

So my gf and I are going to hang out next saturday to go see a movie. She says she wants to see the scariest one there is. I know that Final Destination 5 is gonna be just like the last 4, so which of these two, Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark and Fright Night, do you think will be 'scarier'?

Neither but considering Del Toro did The Orphanage and the fact Fright Night wasn't even scary. Choosing one I would guess Don't be afraid of the dark since the original was some tv movie that I haven't seen.

I'd say Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. Fright Night sounds like one of those cheap Vampire movies.

Kind of like that Werewolf movie they had on Nickelodeon with Victoria Justice....except it's a Vampire.

But seriously, what's so scary about a vampire? All of the movies that feature them are usually about their life and how they kill humans to feed and stuff. Nothing like actual scary movies where they do things that actually scare. It's like saying a movie on Big Foot would be scary.

To me, neither of them would be scary, just unexpected blaring of the theater speakers when something that's supposed to be scary pops out. But Don't Be Afraid of the Dark sounds like the better bet over Fright Night.
