xbox 360 platform - version # 1.00.4.0

Very early on in the game, IIRC somewhere in the riverwood or Whiterun area, I got a follower, told him to Wait Here. Unfortunately I can't remember who it was. If memory serves it was a green grassy farmlike area, adn the guy was dressed like a commoner.

Every time I try to add a follower I get "Looks like you already have someone with you'

I'm now a level 81 and I still can't add a follower. Strange eh?

FWIW I do not have any udpates on the game, I don't have high speed internet or Xbox Live

Any ideas? I'm all ears. Thank you

Well after waiting long enough, you should get mail saying that they were tired of waiting and went somewhere.

It's been a ridiculous amoutn of game time and I haven't got any notes from a follower

maybe i should have posted this in bugs, but a couple other weird things ive noticed (remember this is a non patched game on xbox)

-when using fort smithing or fort alchemy gear, even if equipped, i sometimes have to drop it and then pick it up and re-equip for the extra effect to work

-i have the archery perks that allow zoom in and time to slow down, but neither of them work when i use my bow

-i have the perk that allows 50% greater protection with matched light armor, but some light armor only gives me a 25% more protection bonus

i am taking my system to a friends this week and hopefully with the update all these kinks will get worked out, along with the thinking i have a follower when i dont thing... i am under the impression that i must be able to have a follower to win a vital quest in this game..

the archery perks are working fine

noticed another issue with the 2nd guild book cooking mission i get sent on, it's impossible to complete but i'm guessing that was resolved with patch

It sounds like to didn't get the release day patch. I'm not sure what that fixed but leech some internetz

post-update, follower bug still persists. someone please move this to bugs, or i can just start a new thread over therealso, haelga's bunkhouse bookcooking mission glitch still persists. non-completable mission
