Don't mess with my hotkeys...

Something that has always annoyed me is that when weapons are removed upon entering the casinos on The Strip, they are also removed from your hotkeys. This forces the player to have to rebind the hotkeys. My workaround so far has been to use this mod:

But obviously, it would be ideal if there was a mod which can memorize hotkeys even when the hotkeyed items are removed from your character's inventory. Isn't this now possible with NVSE, similar to what has been done in...*ahem* "Animated Prostitution"? Thoughts?

Yea, it's a real PITA, which is why I save Anything including quests that have to do with the Casinos
until I've exhausted all of my options out in the Desert and surrounding towns.

By the time I get to the casinos I don't bother re-hotkeying my weapons if I'm doing a bunch of casino quests,
because at that point I can just punch stuff to death.

I quickly dropped the habit of hotkeying weapons ever since the 2 key was taken from me. Helps that the game's paused when you pull up your Pipboy too.

Totally agree!!!

I was really annoyed when my favorite weapon hotkey of all-time was dedicated to "Ammo-Type"
it really messed up my usual hotkey set up.

Switching ammo type to me isn't that important, but quick access between Melee and Gun via 1 and 2 is.....
Heck, half the time I'd stop using a gun in FONV because I thought I was out of ammo, only to
find that I had tons of another type, so instead of switching ammo, I'd switch guns.
(Sometimes small stupid details like that get by me).

Anyway, would MUCH prefer 2 being a weapon hotkey instead of being wasted on what it is now,
I tried to map the ammo key and it let me do that, but it wouldn't allow the 2 key to be used as 1,3,4,5,6,7,8 are. :cryvaultboy:
