done, gone, over

sorry folks ..... I'm done
I've been a loyal elder scrolls fan since jump and have had a lot of fun ..... over the years I've patched n' patched and out waited bug fixes and defended the series as one of he best ......
but I've had it ..... I work hard and when I get home and load a game, I do it because I want to enjoy myself, not spend hours sifting through why the "F" it or the unasked for piece-o-crap, aka STEAM, may or may not allow me to play what I've PAID for. Give Bethesda a break? Give me a break .... stop putting out crap before it's ready!!!!!!!!

and another thing, STEAM is piece o' S _ _ T ..... may or may not work with Google taskbar? are you freakin' kidding me? I didn't ask for it, don't want it and seriously do not appreciate bethesda shoving it down my throat !!!!! If this is going to be your business model then we are through .... my little $300 - 500 bucks a year on games may not mean much to you but I'll definitely spend it elsewhere .... I enjoyed myself before bethesda and I'll enjoy myself without you .....

adios

Game works fine for me on PC. PS3 appears to be the only version that still has issues...

Agreed with the Steam thing, and many others agree with you.

All you hater's can take a walk! Maybe this poor soul has had a rough time of it, but he's not alone. I'm sure if Beth. was a car manufacturer, or a baby product manufacturer they would be bankrupt with all the law suits they would have received for releasing a faulty product. So why not show a little sympathy towards those who were unlucky and received a game that's a bit more buggy then yours.

Anyway, sorry to hear your having a hard time with your game, I wouldn't give up just yet, they may fix the game eventually. This is for you and hope to see you back in the land of Tamerial http://images.uesp.net/c/c4/Fishystick.jpg for joining the forums.

I usually dont side with the haters but i have to agree that being forced to use steam in order to play on pc is a lame way to squeeze every dollar out of this game.

Steam is the reason why i own it on xbox, i dont like being forced to play online or use anything other then the game disc to play a game...bad show beth

You are exaggerating and it's ridiculous.
I play Skyrim all the time on Steam and I have no problems.

And a "loay elder scrolls fan" you so nice put it, don't post his only #1 post on the offical Skyrim forum just to use caps lock, whine and alot of !!!! to make a stupid statement..
You are far from any fan of this game, you are more close to a angry clown.

He's on PC and has access to player-made fixes. I'm on Xbox 360 and have no access to those. I manage to stop myself from raging on a forum when I encounter some problems with the game though. Seems more like a problem with Steam than anything else.

I know that I'll no longer be able to enjoy the game, knowing you no longer play it. I'm also very glad you decided to log on tell us all. I certainly wouldn't have been able to sleep tonight with out that information.

I am curious why the ahte for Steam? I mean you can play in offline mode if your internet is down with no issues. You can turn off auto updating. What exact issue with Steam are you having?

Yes perhaps he should have outlined his problems instead of raging, but all those hate comments only fuels the fire not fix it. So it seems it's a fault on both sides, he should have outlined his issues for a chance that someone could fix it, and all the haters could have stopped and asked what was on the go instead of fueling his anger with bad comments.
Maybe he should surf the PC tech side of the fourms, maybe someone with PC experience should have offered a helping hand with his issue. But I'm Canadian and it come naturally to me to stop and ask what's wrong, not stop and poke fun :poke:

If anyone expects to get anything other than a "uMad brah" after an angry rant on the internet, then they are far more optimistic than I am. And I'm pretty sure the OP won't be returning so read them either.

And I'm Alaskan, so all the crazy stuff I've had to face from living up there has made me pretty chill when it comes to problems with just a game. Except the ending of Mass Effect 3; that was just messed up.

steam is shady, ea games and minecraft have pulled out already because if it.
Did you know steam can charge more for games and dlc then the manufacturer price and they already do in europe? Also they wont guarantee to disable if something happens to their servers or business...meaning if valve goes down, they're taking all steam users with them and whatever products on steam will be dead to you.

Read up on steam, its a evil service that valve created to lock down digital distribution and pricing...now beth has sided with the.darkside so the future of pc TES is looking grim
