I dont know about you guys but...

I don't want to wait 6 more months untill magic is fixed in Hearthfire. It takes roughly ~6 months for a proper expansion and Bethesda did this with Dawnguard so It's reasonable to assume Hearhfire will come out near January.

I know everyone thinks magic, actually Destruction magic needs a slight buff because it's much underwhelming compared to Archery and Melee without abusing crafting skills.

I love Skyrim, and I will greatly enjoy Dawnguard, I have no intention to undermine Beth's upcoming DLC.

However adding mabey 2 more Destruction spells, scale the damage, or just make a minor change can easily be done in Dawnguard and not 6 months form now.

Destruction is rather stale, it wont take alot of working hours to add just a few more spells to make it remotely more useful.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it all speculation that there will be another expansion, it will be named Hearthfire, and it will "fix" magic?

I think it is almost a dead cert that there will be more than one DLC for Skyrim.

Well if Hearthfire doesn't fix magic then I will be sad. Believe it or not Destruction spell cost to damage isn't exactly good, not to mention its underwhelming.

Who said that it would take 6 months for Hearthfire? It probably won't take as long.

"The first "TWO" DLCs for skyrim will come first to xbox360"

It'll most likely be the same size as Dawnguard. It took 7 months for Dawnguard, but I'd say the first 3-4 months were devoted to finding and fixing bugs, than working on Dawnguard. I'm thinking a October/November release.

im not sure if anybody noticed this, but it seems to me that half of dawngaurd is based upon the gamejam. just an observation, not a beta:'(
so doesnt that make like half the work done? like finding a jewel in the dirt, cutting and polishing it until you find an appropriate setting in which to show it.

Hearthfire is just the name of a month, the book on the month is just about conjuration magic and whatnot, but as I see it conjuration isn't that bad. Anyways, still, just the name of a month, the book on it just says what happened in that month. It's like saying an expansion about named Last Seed would just be about Neravarine saving the world and whatever. Which already happened.

There will be another expansion again xbox timed exclusive, but it is speculation that it will be named Hearthfire, and it will "fix" magic.

Who ever said hearthfire was a skyrim DLC and not a magic DLC for TES:O or the name of a new TES game based in a mer homeland?

Magic is weak you say? I think it's decently balanced, but I wish they would at least let us rename spells. I wanted to rename Bound Sword, "Spirit Sword" based off of Yu Yu Hakusho, but alas, I cannot.

Since Dawnguard was announced not long after they filed the trademark, if "Hearthfire" is new DLC it is possible they had another group that has been working on it and the DLC will be released in the not to far future. What that DLC may entail in another matter entirely.

Im glad it's not just me that noticed this, i really hope they only showed that in the DG trailer because we have seen it before and are keeping the goodies as a secret.

ha i'm glad im not the only one who thought this.

While i would love to see more love for magic, you sound like you know thats what beth is planning for hearthfire. Dont expect your wishes to be granted in dlc, you're setting yourself up for disappointment ;)

oh and dawnguard is done, the beta is the full add on so theres nothing left to add...if anything they will patch issues before official release or shortly after
