You see a dragon 6 miles that away and by time you get 3% to where it is its vanishes out of view, and then by time you get to where it vanished its gone and forgotten ?

what do you hate and when ?

(should of probably posted this in general discussion :/)

When I accidentally frag one of my own party members during a heated battle and realize it only as I'm sighing a self- satisfied sigh of victory standing over a pile of corpses, with Lydia and Stray Dog under a pile of bodies....

I hate being an almost-purely werewolf character and having to wait for the transformation to wear off before opening a chest containing an item I need for a quest.

Hate it when:

It's 2A.M. I've decided I'm tired and should go to bed but noooooo "just one more" and you go running for the place and it's frustratingly on top of a mountain on the other side of a protruding mountain face with a cliff ending in another mountain with the entrance inexplicably somehow built on top of the peak of a smaller mountain in the mountains. Then I just shed a small tear and go to bed after a save anyway.

Sadly there are no direct routes to anywhere in Skyrim and it's a pain having to travel miles out of your way to get where you are going.

A blacked-out icon shows up on your HUD, so you go to check it out. And the closer you get, the bigger the icon gets. At least, until you're about 6-1/2 inches from the damn thing lighting up as "discovered"...at which point you hit a sheer cliff face that extends for 47 miles in both directions. So you go looking for the single flea's-eyelash-wide goat path that'll take you there. And by the time you've circled what seems like the entire mountain and found it (two entire holds away), the location is now too distant to even register a proximity icon in the HUD, and you're not even sure what direction it's in any more.

SERIOUSLY, Bethesda! I am a HUGE fan, and an ardent defender...But you have GOT to stop DOING this. It's bloody infuriating. It doesn't "encourage exploration" or "reward curiosity." It just makes me want to stab random passersby out of frustration and spite. And I'm not talking about lippy, irritating NPC's. I'm talking about real fleshlings in actual meat-space.

Seriously...Every time I hear some under-informed schmuck on the news bloviating about how "video games encourage violence," I'm forced to grudgingly agree. But not for the reasons they might think. Mowing down cops and hokers in an urban sandboxer doesn't make me want to hurt people. But spending 45 minutes in third-person view, jumping backwards up a 70° rock wall a quarter-inch at a time just to find that the Ruins of Rkund don't even have any decent loot?!? Yes. THERE WILL BE BLOOD.

This is why I have a 34 in Illusion. Solely because I use Clairvoyance when this gets so irritating.

pitdemon, S-P, UglyShirts, and the Karnage: yes. Thankfully I read all your posts before posting myself, because you ALL said it far better than I could have (since I have the head cold from hell, and can hardly think, much less in a straight line....)

In other words, QFFT!
