Ok, so heres the deal, they have The Ultimate DOOM on gamestop as well as DOOM III and Final DOOM and a all other id classic games available for download purchase on gamestop. So far nobody has been able to help me with this, I want to know if they are compatible with Windows7, and I don't care about mods or or wads or whatever, all I want to know is if these download versions will play on Windows7. I would think so since they just added them a few months ago, and they are published by Bethesda so I know they are recent. But please someone tell me if they will work on Windows7, it will make me the happiest person ever if I knew.

The original DOOM games are DOS games so you will need to use DOSBox to run them, or simply use one of the many ports that are available.

DOOM III should work right away without any tinkering.

i am using ZDoom and its great ! you can use your mouse and w,a,s,d keys as you do in the new FPS games !

If it's the same one I own you had to run it in compatibility mode and change 2 settings. The first was run in 640x480 and the other was run in 256 colors. That was the only way I could run it properly.

That is the closest yo can get to the unmodified/original DOS Doom without actually running DOS.
