I am currently trying to get two missions done at once. One being unleashing the ebony blades full power and the other is Boetiah's calling. My first playthrough I exploited a glitch where you sacrifice a follwer (stenvar my first time through which I regretted) on the sacrificial pillar to boethia and after killing off the cultists I used the ritual stone power to bring back the follower I had. Then killing them and waiting a day and rekilling them. I repeated this process till the ebony blade was at full power. On my most recent playthrough I tried the glitch again with cosnach the drunk from markarth as he is my least favorite follower. But after terminating the cultists I tried using the ritual stone to bring him back and nothing happened. Even tried using revenant and other conjuration spells to bring the dead back and all failed. Am I doing something wrong? I really don't wanna lose more than one potential follower.
