Alright, so today I realized just how neglected the Dragonborn is. On my main character I stopped Alduin and the Dragon Crisis, saved the world from the Vampires, and helped Ulfric win the Civil War. After all these accomplishments, I decided to join the Companions for some more glory. However, when I was talking to Kodlak, Vilkas said, "I never even heard of this outsider." I was like, "R U JK!!! Im Dragonborn, Stormblade, and one of the greatest vampire slayers and yet you never heard of me!?!?" Don't worry, it gets better. I decided to save Thorald Graymane instead. When I freed the group of prisoners in the dungeon he was held up in, none of them thanked me but rather insulted me. "Get away from me" and "Leave me alone" were the only things they said to me. Then I go back to Whiterun after saving a member of the Gray-mane family and Olfina, isntead of thanking me for saving her brother, just spoutted off some more of her femi-nazi comments like, "What's the matter, can't stand the sight of a strong Nord woman?" Its kinda like this with everything, lol. I would hope that in future Elder Scrolls games this wouldn't be as big of a problem and they would put some more thought into things like that.
