Dovahkiin as major force

Unfortunatley, the Dovakiin in this game is not much more than what the Blades have become. The Dragonslayers. Although most players ambition seek for more, you are just a tool to every faction, Aedra and Daedra in the game.

Well it's true from a gameplay point of view. Kind of. But do you really think the Dovahkiin will be described as the Dude who just helps people n [censored]? So it's kind of a Gameplay POV. But from a gameplay POV the Dovahkiin can also be a unstoppable Monster. What's more interesting is the lore POV.... for me atleast. My First Elder Scrolls Game was Morrowind but at this point of my ES career I played at least once through all the games and the Dovahkiin has, from all the PC's yet, the biggest potential to acutally be someone.. lorewise.
He could change more in Tamriel than every other PC of the past could. Well maybe they could but we will never know... this is however not the case with the Dovahkiin and i'd be upset if he wouldn't fill a bigger spot in one of the DLC's. So much possibilities..

There are unfortunately a group of people who have mastered the shout. Shouting alone is not unique. He sole purpose is to defeat the dragons. He isn't Alessia, nor has been fused with the blood of Akatosh.

o.O
But I didn't even mention shouting. You're downplaying the Dovahkiin imo.

Indeed. There have been many individuals who could Shout and in theory any Nord could learn to do it with enough patience and the right training, but that is not the same thing as being Dragonborn. Being Dragonborn means you have the soul of a dragon, it is a gift and a blessing from Akatosh, and it does make you "of the dragon's blood" - I believe Paarthurnax even refers to it that way in one of your conversations with him. It was the shared blood that bound Alessia and her heirs to Akatosh in the forging of his Covenant with the Empire, it was the metaphorical handing down of this blessing from Akatosh that made the Emperors "Dragonborn" even if they were not born with the souls of dragons and never shouted once in their lives. The PC as Dovahkiin shares in this blessing and then some IMO.

Thalmor units can't even kill skeevers without getting routed so yeah Dovahkiin would be good help.

Nah, from personal experience their magic is limited, and I've withstood some pretty fierce mage attacks. After a while, the Dovahkiin's resistance is even more legendary than his fighting ability. Magic won't do it. To defeat the Dragonborn would require brains, wile, wit, cunning and subterfuge, knife in the back by a trusted friend. Of course, the Dragonborn doesn't really have any friends, he has people who want to use him for their own goals, to control him, or are "sworn to carry his burdens," so that might be tricky to pull off.

The Dovahkiin is a talented and exceptional individual and as General Tullius says "Battles are won by trained and disciplined men. Wars are won by talented and exceptional individuals". Regardless of who you support in the Civil War one must admit tha Tullius knows what he is talking about when it comes to war.

As a Shezzarrine you can bet he'll be a major pain in the thalmor's collective behind.
