PC downgrade and running skyrim

Hi i just downgraded to my old pc while my main one is fixed and notest that skyrim takes along time to load and it jumps alot .
i just changed my GFX card from a ATI HD Radeon 4670 to a ATI Radeon HD 5450 and the above problems have not gone
can u help me try to fix this plz?

The HD 4670 is a better, more capable card than an HD 5450. Anyway, post your back up PC's specs.

no idea on my main pc speccs till i get it back becoz its gone for fix and upgrade.
i will post the speccs when i get my main comp bk

AMD Athlon? Dual Core Processor 4850e
Windows 7 Ultimate 32x bit system
Memory (RAM) 4 GB
ATI Radeon HD 5450
297GB Free (466GB Total)
DirectX 10
1680x1050 monitor resolution

and thats small compared to my main comp :)

32 bit OS, 4 gigs of ram, dual core, seems about on par with performance your getting.

Graphics is not the only thing this game taxes a system with, it is also the PC. Most games tax just the Video, the CPU is just there to keep things straight between cell renders. In this game, your CPU will be used as much, if not more, then your GPU.

Try a strict clean boot to get the most performance you can.
