well. aedra imo beats daedra, and as alduin, the first dragon, is said to be born of akatosh, dragon bone should be stronger than daedric weaponry. just my thought on it
Never thought of it that way, guess it kind of makes sense. Dragons aren't just beasts after all, though if the Dragon bow doesn't look good, I'll stick with my Daedric one, simply because it looks awesome and it does too much damage as it is so looks are more important that a few extra digits.
Dragonbone armor is apparently a bit superior to daedric, and one of the developers announced in a video interview that there would be dragonbone weapons, and that they would be superior to daedric.
I welcome this - I find all the daedric paraphernalia to be somewhat morbid-looking. Lurid, even.
But the dragon paraphernalia needs a makeover. The light grey dullness of it all..................just doesn't have the right..........what's the word I'm looking for..............Aesthetic.
Consider: it's armor and weaponry made from a magical creature of extremely ancient origin and awesome power. The paraphernalia derived from dragons should thus have a certain fearsome grandeur and terrible beauty - a look that instills an atavistic panicked horror in enemies and a sense of wonder, astonishment and awe in neutral or friendly observers.
I agree on the need for a dragonbone makeover, I'd use dragon armor if it wasn't so bulky too.
Guess I'll have to give myself a surplus of dragon parts via console commands when I get the DLC on PC eventually, I don't do the main quest.
