hello everybody

i've done somethings killed a cople of dragons i am lvl 24 my sneak is already 100 and i am training now my other stuff.
but i want to backstab dragons but when i need to find dragons i couldn't find them.
does anybody know some spots?

I know you can Sneak attack Dragon with a Bow, but I'm not sure that it's possible to Backstab Dragons...

I could be wrong though. I just know that every time I've tried it with a Dragon, once I get within a certain distance, they take off whether they've seen me or not. My Sneak "eye" will still be completely closed, but the Dragons take flight everytiime and immediately attack.

My Sneak score is 100 also, and I'm wearing the Ancient Shrouded Armor. So I should be sneaking up on them with no problem, I just don't think it works with Dragons.

i have done it before i got 1 hit and 1 arrow and the dragon was dead pretty amazing.
but i want to kill a great dragon but i dont no where..

If you can find one perched on the wall they are guarding, you can get one off with a bow, but it seems they are programmed to take off once you get near. Whether you are sneaking or not.

I call BS. I've done the one-shot with a Bow like BeerBaron said, but I agree with him that they are programmed to take off and attack when you are a certain distance from them. If you say that you've done a successful Sneak attack/Backstab with a hand-held weapon such as a Sword/Dagger/Mace, then I would have to see a video to believe it. Until then, I'm going to agree with BeerBaron as my own personal experience with it says that it isn't possible.

as you explore skyrim you will find trails leading up mountains.

it is a 50-50 chance that there will be a dragon up that mountain.

anytime that you see a dragonhead icon....go there.

I found a Frost dragon on top of a tower, it was night and he was sleeping, Took him down to 10% health with a x30 damage back stab.

Similar experience with the frost dragon guarding Krosis' coffin and word wall. He was sleeping curled up in front of the word wall, one shotted him with a back stab.

Every Elder or Ancient dragon I've seen is always sitting in a place I can't physically access and I've never seen one sleep. So no back stabs on them.

i will search for them.
