Is it just me or shouldn't the dragons be much much harder to kill?

The first time I felt the ground shake and a gigantic roar, I was terrified! I had no idea where it was or what weapon to use, I ran, I hid and I asset the situation.....but I quickly realized the dragon was more like a fire breathing rat. It was a short battle and very anticlimactic. I feel like these battles should be epic! You know, like having to get to high ground and jumping on its back while having to block its attacks (Biting/tail)..the way it is now you can stand in front of it and slash it a couple time...

I thought so before.....until Elder Dragons showed up on master difficulty. Now THAT is a boss fight!

For most part your right, dragons should be tougher all around, but if im guessing you fought the first dragon from story, with alot of help from friendly AI. Once its a 1 on 1 type of fight it gets a bit harder. Still not like i would want but its ok

Same here. After a while I'm like "Oh it's a dragon" with bears I'm like "Holy sh*t! It's a f*cking bear!"

It would be nice if all dragon races could appear even at level 1 so you would've have to run away from them at low levels and then try to beat them when you're a little better. Shouldn't be that hard to mod just have to wait for CK to be released

They do fear you. That is why they are so easy.

If they didn't fear you, it would be because they could eat you in a single bite.

I think I got a lucky copy of the game. I dispose of Bears, Trolls and Sabercats with ease, but any Dragon above the regular one can give me quite a hard time.

Skyrim fact. Cave Bears kill me more than dragons have.

Sidebar, I've watched a cave bear kill a dragon, no issue. Bears > Dragons.

I think dragons are so cute in Skyrim though...I like them. They are precocious scamps flying here and there and landing and trying to take a bite out of me. But yeah, dangerous? Not so much. I haven't fought an ancient yet though.

Yeah, Dragons are kinda piss easy.

Blood Dragons are annoying.

Frost dragons are tricky

Elder Dragons are tough.

Ancient Dragons-RUN.

I thought the same thing when I first couple dragons I killed. By those are just normal dragons, they get much harder later.

Have you fought Elder Dragons, and Ancient Dragons yet? Hell, even Frost Dragons are kind of tough sometimes, but yeah basic dragons are really easy; they're basically free souls.

Elder dragon... Winterhold... veteran difficulty... fifteen minutes... everyone dead... so many reloads.... burned almost all of my potions... had to use Call Dragon AND Call of Valor... he wouldn't die... so much pain.... *faints*

role play the dragonborn with iron helm/boots/gloves and studded armour on hardest difficulty, you'll struggle.. i sure as hell do

I once got attacked by a dragon while wearing my fine clothes, and turns out, that makes things a lot harder, but after a few tries, I was delighted to see my character jump on top of the dragons head in style

My Nord gal pummels dragons with her bow. Of course I have not seen the "Elder Dragon" yet and am not playing on "Master".

A couple of spinning dual sword flurries (3rd person) and those bears (and trolls) are toast (exquisite leather armor and two legendary elven swords).

Frost Dragons are nothing if your character is a Nord (50% cold resistence).

Should be a tougher deal with my new Breton character.

They fixed it. Its impossble to kill a dragon now. :wallbash:
