People have been complaining about that. Hopefully it will be addressed in a DLC or a mod or something. It would be nice to wield dragpn bone or scale weapons as well as Deadric...

Honestly, I think dragonscale and dragonbone weapons would be just a little less powerful than daedric weapons. Daedric artifacts after all require a deadric heart, which infuses whatever you are crafting with with a soul. Dragon bone/scale are just really hard and heavy. There is not dragon heart infused to make it that much more powerful. It could be really sharp (maybe a slashing bonus) or really strong (maybe a block bonus).

When they come out (they most certainly will), I really hope that they will be stronger than Daedric. Similar to how Orcish Armor is stronger than Dwarven Armor but Dwarven Weapons are stronger than Orcish weapons.

I've been running with the greatsword from the second pack. Very nice, both visually and stat wise. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/487751203984066263/05740552B35CCCCA7F9B3C93AA50861212A893BE/

Those look like poop

Davnat's is just re-colored orcish Wulfharth's and Dagothball's are plain, and aeonvita's looks too strange.

Maybe that's why they were scrapped. Ebony, Glass, and Daedric looked so special, but dragonbone would look plain/ugly and not epic enough to be (most likely) the most powerful weapons in the game.

But if they can do a good enough job, I want a weapons and armor pack that both you and NPC's can aquire. Mithril, chainmail, chitin, adamantium armors and weapons, along with dragonbone weapons.

Yeah, not a fan of those mods either, but the ones Faelix posted look good. Not currently using them, though, as I'm waiting to see if the devs add them in; I hope they do, if for no other reason than that it would be fitting for the Dragonborn to be killing Dragons with weapons made from Dragons.

I've grown to like dragonbone (I think it all depends on the character maybe. Thinner males and female characters look cool in it), so the weapons would be a nice addition.

I wish 100 smithing for dragon smithing is actually worth it. It is kind of non sense going for light armor while the best armor is in daedra smithing...

how come you are not able to learn daedra smithing with 100 smithing and dragon smithing...?

Never intended, you can see this on the Smithing perk-tree.

Stell, Dwarven, Orc, Ebony, Daedric covers "2" categories - heavy + weapon

Elven, Glass also covers "2" categories - light + Weapon

Advance, Dragon .... "2" categories - light + heavy

Advance and Dragon did not have weapons but covers light and heavy

If you're going light armor, dragon is the best. It's heavy armor where daedric trumps dragon.

That said, it doesn't matter either. Both types can hit the cap, and at high level smithing, anything can be upgraded to hit the cap. It just comes down to aesthetics. I'd never use daedric myself. I don't care for the look.
