I'd get a kick out of a pursuit game that has the action reported by a news helicopter following the chase, with AI that describes the action as it happens. With many different kinds of vehicles, from crotch rockets to armored vehicles. Basically I'd like a fun version of "Wildest Police Chases" show as a game.

An RPG in ancient Asia. Open free roaming world where you start out with nearly nothing. Having everything used by samurai, ninjas and the like, but starting out with the basic of weapons, maybe even wooden weps. NO over the top special moves like kill bill or ninja gaiden, but with in reason. And have it true to the times, great graphics, plenty of armor and weps, with plenty of places to explore, pillage, and conquer. And if done right have your own fortress with all the trimmings.

That's my dream game

An open world Gundam title. Because nothing beats going about in mobile suits without being told what to do.

A new JRPG with oodles of content, directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, score composed by Nobuo Uematsu and art by Yo[censored]aka Amano. Turn-based combat set in a steampunk world, sporting a story that's a sort of a throwback to the "good old days" (though, without the simplicity). No silly multiplayer components tacked on or any kind of DLC whatsoever, must include New Game Plus in some form. It will be one game, not the start of some sort of giant compilation that will spawn countless sequels and spin-offs.

Basically, a game along the lines of Final Fantasy IX and Lost Odyssey. Back to the basics.

What's 1 game you wish existed?

I want a game where you can go to literally any real world place
Every country and every major city with in the country
You would travel by any means possible: cars, boats, planes, bikes, choppers, submarines.
It would be open world sandbox with hundreds of missions themed to the region

And you can choose where in the world your character is born, his/her parents, and then you can choose an occupation for him/her such as Merc, Assassin,Bounty Hunter, [enter government agency here], [enter military organization here].
Complete freedom

Then there's DLC like Zombie apocalypse, Nuclear apocalypse, Alien Invasion.

I like to dream big, very big :celebration:

A game like Oblivion mixed with Grand Theft Auto with a spoonful of dual wielding added.
Man, that would be awesome!

Sequels I'd kill for: TimeSplitters 4, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Hitman 5, The Elder Scrolls V, and Jade Empire 2.

As far as my dream game goes, I imagine it's pretty cliched. I'd like a game as open as Oblivion or Grand Theft Auto set in a zombie apocalypse (even in spite of the sheer number of zombie games flooding the market right now). It would be awesome if it was realistically story driven on a path to survival, but still offered you plenty of room to just have fun killing zombies, i.e. just a mode separate of the story where you can tweak guns, ammo, # of zombies, health, allies, etc.

I'm waiting for when the technology becomes available for independent and smaller studios can make the games that only a small community would want to play, but still turn a profit.

The amount of people having the skills and requirements for game development is growing, and getting them to work for either the experience or just minimum wage might be blessing to us gamers.

Theoretically, a vast open world like Morrowind could be created in the near future with just a fraction of the time and effort. A large public domain of artwork could be created that allows smaller developers to utilise some of the genuine talent out there, and a lot of people would just be happy to see their creations used in a game i imagine.

Unfortunately, no amount of technology can replace writers, and AI maybe one of the hardest things to improve on, still requiring huge amounts human guidance and scripting.

Oh, watching MST3K again, got another idea... I want a really, really awesome new Kaijū game. Create your own monster, fight others, stomp through cities and over whole continents, with destruction like in Red Faction Guerilla going on. Kind of like Prototype and Hulk Ultimate Destruction, only bigger.

Pandemic wasn't behind Battlefront 3, EA took them away from LucasArts,so they lost the rights to use the franchise in a game. Then EA closed them down.
Free radical had it, but went bust, then Rebellion I think it was had it last.

Oh yea , well I miss Pandemic anyhow. Meh :( This what happens when they take away the best creators of the game.

An RTS where you control a raiding party of either army arts or Siafu. Imagine the possibilities when Pikmin meets Deadly Creatures. There would be colony to colony combat, and there would be gore.

A fallout game with swords and spells and stuff, wouldn't that be awesome?!

I want to be able to play in a Micheal Bay movie, basically an open world RPG where you can blow everything up and create weapons out of everything.

A sandbox RPG set in ancient Greece, where you roam the Mediterranean trying to become the next big Greek hero and you do many quests based on Greek mythology. I would also like to look down and see my body instead of floating arms, along with a little head bobble so I don't feel like a floating camera.

I always thought that on mech games, you could have several classes of weaponry:

Powered armor (The Size of the Power armor from Fallout or Armor by John Stakely...about 3 meters tall. propelled by feet.)

exo walker (about the size of the Titan suit from Jak 2, the EXO from Killzone 2, or the lifting suit from Aliens propelled by feet, or maybe even wheels, or hover pieces.)

Crew Mech (about the Size of Metal Gear REX, can be propelled by feet, treads, screws, hover pieces, or even biological components.)

Heavy Mech (Gundam sized. can be propeled by any of the above)

and heck there could even be some ships too. ship combat against Gundams could be awesome.
