You cannot get a Dremora Thrall unless there is something I do not know.

They're called Atronarchs ;)

Also, forum's not the best place to look for such things.

Try a simple web search, or wiki.

You don't need permanent companions for them to still be effective.

You can summon two dremora lords, they just still only last for a duration. The duration is long enough not to be a problem though, and having two summons always out has a tendency to be annoying as they get in your way on occasion. I don't even bother perking master conjuration and I don't think my character is any less effective for not doing so, I prefer the temporary versions to the thralls.

Use your perks, you'll pick up enough gear that you don't really even need enchanting for the most part.

Its not a trick either, free spells are a reward for investing time into skills/spells... not an exploit by far.

I have a Dremora Lord Thrall. I had to do certain things to have that happen but really if I can cast two anytime for a very small amount of manna why would I want one around all the time? They scare the citizens.

You cannot use "Dead Thrall" on Daedras. I tried using that spell on the Daedras during the last part of the quest of Mehrunes Dagon where you have to fight 2 Dremoras. It'll tell you that the Daedra's are too powerful for that spell and also "Dead Thrall" is only usable on "HUMANOIDS".

I have looked it up everywhere and it says nothing about a Dremora Thrall a permanent Dremora Lord.
