Dungeon DLC Pack

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:25 pm

What do you guys think of a Dungeon dlc pack, it would be around 240 or 500 msp and it would add like 20 - 30 new dungeons, do think it would be a good idea or would it add clutter to the map?

Don't worry, Todd, or maybe was Matt, said Dawnguard will add 20 more dungeons!

Let me just look for the video where I heard this...

That seem quite good, since there adding a whole new sub area to the sea of ghosts.

To me, what you describe would be the least appealing option of them all.

Todd said somewhere that was one of ideas, adding like 30 dunegons to base game, but instead they dropped that for the large expansion idea.

Just my opinion, but one thing Skyrim has lots of already is dungeons. More landmass, more interesting characters, more stories please.

There's a point where they all look the same. i hope the 20 dungeons have more variety.

I mean gameplay improvemnets, revamping mechanics. Just adding another bunch of dungeons, of which Skyrim already has plenty of, sounds quite uninteresting and unimaginative.

I'd rather they add new stories and landmasses, and fill that with dungeons. A dungeon pack is too much like a map pack.

I wouldn't mind. As long as they had an objective, and were as big, or similar to Mehrunes Razor, in Oblivion.
An objective meaning: fight, sneak, slay, through this cave and acquire the Sword of a 1000 truths, or something.

Oblivion's dungeons had way less variety. I've never said it had any.

Todd already said that the team thought about adding more dungeons but then thought it would be more beneficial to add new things to the game, and not things we already have. Of course with the expansions there will be more dungeons.

It'd be cool, but I don't see how it would work out well.

for 1, the map is already cluttered, and 2 who wants more of those boring old damp mossy dungeons. a true skyrim fanatic craves all new types of content. take for example, a guild of dragon riders. that would be truly epic.

You can see a sneak peek at some of the new dungeons that will be featured in Dawnguard if you watch the trailer.

What is this Inheritance? OH we might as well make Ulfric a dragon rider who loses his dragon, who then goes nuts and kills all the other dragon riders who oppose him, then he becomes high king of skyirm

I like it alot I hope they do that. But make awesome different dungeons that have a story with them. Not a bandit massacre for a mace or helmet I don't want.
