I have always associated the Dark Elves as the perfect build for a dark and unlawful style of stealthy assassin.


Reason being is that Dark Elves have the Morag Tong which also originally founded the Dark Brotherhood. Heralded by the prophet Veloth, the Daedric Prince Boethiah is the original god ancestor of the Dark Elves. Boethiah rules over deceit, conspiracy, secret plots of murder, assassination, treason and unlawful overthrow of authority. It was through worship of Boethiah that the Dark Elves renounced all ties to the Aldmer.


Back in Morrowind I made my Dunmer assassin as light armored and an expert in blade, archery and sneak. I already made a Dunmer DB character for Skyrim named Temujin (some may recognise as the real name of Genghis Khan. I used this based on my Dunmer's ashlander ancestry) but I've decided to start him again. With the Dunmer now being the top at destruction I want to make a new build based on Dunmer racial bonus and also the Dunmer lore as connected to Boethiah and also the Dark Brotherhood / Morag Tong.



Any ideas or suggestions for his skills and perks etc?

I always thought it was Azura who birthed the dunmer.

ebony mail is heavy armor, but it's up to you weather you prefer that over the dark brotherhood's uniform, but the molag tong fought the DB in Morrowind, didn't they?

One problem - It doesn't cover the destruction which is my main goal.

I want him to be light armor - dark brotherhood.

According to TES lore, the DB were originally a branch of the Morag Tong before they broke away.

I agree that enchanting would have seemed better for them. At first I thought conjuration due to them summoning ancestors but I think Dunmer are opposed to Necromancy as a whole. Enchanting would have probably suited them better. Destruction it is now though

You can do some work to Mephala as well, the Morag Tong used to kill in her name.
