Dwarfs in Skyrim?

Post » Fri Jul 13, 2012 11:40 am

Are they extinct or something? It would be pretty cool to play as one of them... Or slaughter their entire race.. Did they poison the Falmer? If so, that's why I would kill them.

I have a feeling the Dwemer might appear in one of the DLCs, there's just too much about them already in game.

Spoiler
There is a living dwarf encountered in Morrowind. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Yagrum_Bagarn

The Dwemer disappeared. No one knows why. I don't want Bethesda to explain, some things are just cooler as a mystery.

Yagrum Bagarn wasn't on Nirn when the Dwemer disappeared, if any Dwemer were to appear in any installment it wouldn't be any large number if any at all, if any other Dwemer were in the outer realms they surely would have resurfaced in the several eras after the War of the First Council. Dumac used the tools on Lorkhans heart and the Dwemer became the golden skin of Numidium and as of Daggerfall, Numidium is gone as well.

Really, the story of the Dwemer has been explained.

Read the lore, the Dwemer are gone.
Additionally, I think many people will also cry foul if they tried to bring the Dwemer back in any way, kind of like
Spoiler
what they are sort of threatening to do with the character Falion (who claims to have met Dwemer in the planes of Oblivion).
Many of the people who will be crying foul at this possible decision will likely be equating this to the "Han shot first/Greedo shot first" controversy from the Star Wars movies when George Lucas began making changes to the films, and likely other unpopular decisions that George Lucas made.

But I think there's also a number of people who want to see the Dwemer return, too, so this is a very sensitive and controversial piece of lore right here. I certainly don't want to be the one to make the final decision, that much is for sure.

Will the Dwemer be in the new TES:Online?

TES:O will be set in the second era, but I cant remember if the dwemer were alive back then.

They went all NULL state about two thousand years before Skyrim. There is a better chance of my non-terminated Linked List not crashing than the Dwemer coming back.

He actually in what would be called a wheelchair if it had wheels. Dwemer had a thing for mechanical things. The look of their ruins seems to be inspired by the basic look of steampunk, as well. So, it's a legged wheelchair? I never paid attention to his handicapped body's transportation.

Here's a site that will help with understanding his problem: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page

Unless Divayth Fyr helped him escape but until Bethesda mentions what happened to them, we'll never know aye.

He's so bloated with Corprus Disease that he cannot walk or stand on his own. He's sitting on a Centurion Spider like device to walk for him.

I never really got to play Morrowind.
Too young back then too enjoy such a game, too outdated now I guess. Might get it off Steam though.
So don't really know about this "Eruption."
