Hey guys. This is my first forum, so please go easy on me. I don't know about you guys, but I am obsessed with the Dwemer and their underground cities. If you have completed the Arniel's Endeavor questline at the College of Winterhold, you will know that the Dwemer did not simply go extinct. They were sent to some sort of other dimension through a catastrophe brought on by their extremely power crystals they use to bring their machinery to life. It would not be surprising for Bethesda to be working on some sort of DLC centering around the lost Dwemer, and my question to you guys is: what are your opinions on the dwarves, and do you think dwarven DLC will be made by Bethesda? Only Dwemer related posts will be kept on this forum thread.

There's already a generally excepted explanation for what happened to the Dwemer, although nobody knows for sure. I'm probably not the best person to explain this, but essentially, they attempted to ascend to divinity by becoming one with the Brass God, Numidium (effectively a giant, divine Dwemer golem). It's generally believed that they partially succeeded, becoming Numidium's skin, but not really "ascending" themselves, just becoming a part of it. That's not really the best explanation, but it's the gist of the situation.

the dwemer are all dead except maybe for one in morrowind that has corpus (don't know if he is still alive after this 206 years )
they have been absorbed into Numidium's Skin when tried to become divines :3
would be awesome to find more about their history/culture maybe through surviving documents e etc, but they will not come back q-

Would be nice to see a DLC around the Dwemer for sure. Maybe they come back from said dimension or the god banishes them back to our realm. They then start occupying their old cities, raiding surrounding areas for materials, maybe a war is started between the Dwemer and anyone above ground etc etc..... they could go a lot of places with it.
