it sounded so cool though, I mean for some races it could be said e.g. elvish and orcish, it's still disappointing though

 Can't say it worries me
In my ideal world Bosmeri Leathers would be different to and have its own disadvantages and advantages compared to Khajiit Leathers but in the real world where games have to get actually made :meh:

Some do.

The fur, hide and scale armors are typical Nord since the Nord npcs always wear these. Plus there is the stormcloak armor set and the rare ancient nord one.
The imperials have the imperial armor sets of course, and steel and steel plate are imperial types.
High elves have the elven which is what the Thalmor always wear.
Bretons have the forsworn armor.
The redguards have an Arabian type clothing set which you can buy at Radiant Raiments in Solitude and find in one quest.
Orcs have orcish armor.
Falmer have falmer stuff. You can get a complete playable set of it somewhere.

I don't know about the other races. Haven't seen anything like argonian, khajiit, wood elf or dunmer armors anywhere.

Plus the Nordic steel gauntlets. The steel and steel plate seem to have a somewhat Norse design feel to them, at least to me.

But that's armor made from dragons, not armor made by dragons.

What would that be like for "elven" and "orcish" armor?

Let's see... You have a Redguard outfit in the game. Orcish, Elvish and Ancient Nordic armors. Isn't glass suppose to be from Vvardenfell? If so, then glass could be Dunmeri. Though I don't think it's ever been treated as specific to t hem. There's imperial legion armor. So all that's really missing would be Breton, Argonian and Khajiit.

edit: Forgot about the Forsworn armor.

1.Then they still 'wear' it

2. It'd look mad. What would the buffs be?

There's plenty of Khajiit armor in the game! Haven't you seen all those bandits running around in fur armor? :whistling:

Scale - Argonian
Fur - Khajiit

Yeah, why don't I get scales and fur when I kill an argonian and a khajiit for crafting? Those khajiit traders are so cute, they would make great armor.
