Ease a poor mage's mind, do ash piles still glitch up respaw

Ever since I learned that the bugs from Fallout 3 still plagued Skyrim when it comes to ash piles; them not disappearing and when an previously reanimated NPC respawns causing problems, I've stayed far, far away from anything that causes ash piles to be created. After patch 1.4 said ash piles now get cleaned up I remade my character and tried reanimating a few corpses. Alas, it seems the aversion still hasn't left the back of my mind and I've since stopped trying to play as a necromancer for the most part. I just don't trust Bethesda to fix anything after the reputation they've gained when it comes to quality control so I'm asking the community with all its knowledge from prodding, poking, and scrutinising if ash piles are now completely (or nearly) safe to cause. Are there any long-term effects that may not come to light until 30 saves away?

I greatly doubt it will mess up respawning as the ash piles are a seperate entity than a corpse or the actual npc. the only issue with non termninating ash piles is that they can potentially bloat your file size which at around 20 mb will make the game unplayable but keep in most players will never reach such a file size with the implemented features in 1.4. this file bloating has been around since just about forever and it is incredibly disheartening to know it still exists several game iterations later.

this mod is just about mandatory for anything investing more than 200 hours into a single char.

Phew, thank you. Good to know not everything Bethesda says is a lie or an exaggeration.
