Alright, well I have the Explorer perk so I am going around to every place in the game looking for hidden gems that might be useful. However, my cap card isn't hooked up so I am afraid I cant show you a video yet, but I am working on that. But any way, back to the reason why you're looking here. In a place called "Lone Wolf Radio", SW of Goodsprings Source, you go into the trailer and in the far side, there is the Wasteland Survival Guide. If you played Fallout 3 which I am sure most of you did, you'll remember that quest in Megaton, well, it is completed and here in New Vegas It will only give you +3 to Survival, but I though it was cool.

Also, directly south of "Ranger Station Charlie", and I mean south, like, all the way to the bottom of the map, there is a place called "Crashed Vertibird" in a small canyon, there is a weapon called "Tesla-Beaton Prototype" and it is amazing! The gun looks sick, the DPS is 98 and DAM is 50. Weighs 8 pounds, and it valued at 1162 caps. It takes EC packs, and it will use them up. One shot uses 45, but it is amazing to watch. I will try to post a video so it is better understood, but in the meantime, I hope this helps you in your quest to be the ultimate bad***

Theres also another Wasteland Survival Guide when you go to Lake Mead. It is on a raft style little platform under a rack. There are a lot of lakelurks around though, so its a little trouble getting to it.
