Bump.

Just realized its not exeactly "easy" to pickpocket a Briar-Heart. but for a stealth character it would be.

Does it work? I think not. I think it only appears in their inventory on death. Please prove me wrong though.

Not for me, I just eat them. Because hey, what else would you do with the heart of your enemy?

It's easy to sneak when they're busy at the alchemy table (I encounter lot of them brewing potions). Not in front of them, also considering the 190° FOV that NPCs have. On a less serious note, how is it possible to pickpocket the heart, which is at the front, sneaking behind an enemy? :D

My thief/assassin one shots these guys from behind easily anyway but that's pretty cool to know. Thief/Assassin types are probably the most powerful class in the game. 15x plus the other 1h damage bonuses plus gear is just nasty.

Well, technically, the Briar Heart is part of their inventory, or in the worst case scenario, equipped on them. So, a properly perked sneaker & 'pickpocketeer', should be able to take it off

Furthermore, I found http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgA8i9mwCeo. It was recorded from an xbox session so, there's no reason to believe there was any modding involved.

It`s a nice touch, but I have the sneaking abilities of an avalanche.

I read about this a while ago. There's no modding involved.

I find one-shot kills anti-climatic and I'm always up for a good duel. No challenge=no fun. That's why, even though my Nord uses archery along with sword+shield, I haven't put any perks into archery as I don't want him all of a sudden becoming a sniper.

Isn't this what we have a Hints forum for?
Anyway, I like that feature. I knew of it from before, and think it's cool. It shows how the briar keeps them going.
Kind of reminded me of the Hourglass of Resolve from Oblivion.

I have pick pocketed Briar Hearts many times, they die instantly. First time by accident, just seeing what they had in their inventory.
