Ebony, Dragon, Daedric

Is there anyway to get Ebony, Dragonbone, and Daedric armor/weapons without crafting them? This is mostly for Dragonbone and Daedric since I have some Ebony stuff.

I have found 2 daedric armour items and one dragonscale helmet in my travels, one of the daedric bits had 40% extra 1h damage on it.

I found full ebony armor twice, both times on random encounters of wondering mercenaries. Daedric/Dragon armor pieces are extremely rare loot, thus a finding a full set in a timely fashion is highly unlikely.

I've found Ebony armor pieces in random loot, at least a full set two or more times. I've also found a Dragonscale Helmet once, and that's it. I have, however, never seen any Daedric armor or weapons, and I'm at level 52.

If you want to obtain these later pieces of armor, your best bet is to smith them. It's worth the effort, just get the smith in Whiterun at the Skyforge to train you each level, as he's a master trainer for Smithing, and that's 5 Smithing levels per main level. Gets quite expensive at the higher levels though.

Ebony is easy. I found one pair of enchanted dragonscale boots, but no dragonplate, and one daedric helmet that wasn't enchanted. I'm level 50. Possibly coincidence but I got both the boots and helmet at word wall chests (like Shearpoint, ancient's ascent, etc).

I've had a random encounter where I High Elf wearing full Ebony attacked me on the road to Whiterun from Rorikstead shouting "For the Dominion!" or something similar.

I beleve you can use the Atronoch Forge in the Midden under the Winterhold College to make basic daedric weapons and armor, if you don't want to spend the smithing perks. I haven't done this myself, but the strategy guide has a list of recipes for them. I think you need the Ebony version of the item you want (so an Ebony bow if you want a Daedric bow), a Daedra heart, black soul gem, and another item I can't remember off-hand.

Edit: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Atronach_Forge, looks like it's a Dwemer Centurion Dynamo I forgot
Edit 2: that page says they come with a random enchant, not unenchanted too, so not a good option if you want to roll your own enchants

I'm level 27 and last night I found an enchanted (+20% Magicka) Ebony Armor in a chest. I've also found Glass several times. I assume as I get higher level even better stuff will pop up. I don't know about dragon though as that may be craft only. Course the stuff looks awful so no real lose. My girl looks better in Scale Armor than Dragonscale. I just wish there was a Scale Shield.

I'm at lv. 57, played for 180 hours now (holy [censored]...), and as loot I've only found ONE dragonbone helmet so far (is that what it's called?). No daedric or dragonscale. Have smithed it all though, as I have 100 smithing.

Dragonbone seems to be exceedingly rare; I have only ever seen one dragonbone helmet in the game.

Daedric can be found in chests, etc., but only at very high levels. I started finding Daedric weapons at L46, and Daedric armor at L50.

You should be able to save when you have the forge loaded up. Hit the button and reload if it is not the enchant you want. Maybe not the speediest (or perhaps RP-iest) way to do things, but it should work eventually.

Actually, I just went to the Atronach Forge and upgraded my entire set of Ebony gear to Daedric, then upgraded my follower's gear for good measure. It comes out clean and unenchanted, ready for you to smith and enchant new powers on it. (You can definitely use gear you enchanted yourself for the upgrade, but when I tried using some Ebony Armor I had found already-enchanted in a chest, it wouldn't work.) Oddly, when I did the recipe with boots, it consumed the reagents and produced nothing -- looks like the boots recipe may be bugged (tried it with two different ebony boots, and across several save game reloads -- no luck.)

I'm glad I saved all those Dwemer Centurion Cores for decorating my house; I had 12 of them sitting around.

I found a daedric bow and daedric battle axe at level 35 so it does happen. Funny I found them in the same dungeon, a dwemer ruin iirc.

Ebony items start appearing in treasure chests around Skyrim by level 25. But ebony items svcks this time. The sword design is horrible, it looks like some giant six toy. Texturing is also questionable and while I like the art direction of Skyrim, I preferred some weapons and armors models of Oblivion.

Daedric, dragon and ancient nord armors start appearing respectively above level 30 and level 40 in chests locked with master locks or, again, in 'treasure chests' scattered around Skyrim, those tied to the treasure maps. Also tthe chests near dragon walls are likely candidates.

Yes, I found Ebony, Daedric and Dragon armor from chest. However I can't remember what is my character level and the chest level.

I believe you can collect full set of any of them since the enemy and chest will reset after a week or a month.

I also saw some merchant sell Ebony or Daedric equipment, but mostly are weapon.
