Economy effects?

Did they make it into the game? If I sell wood like crazy to say ... Riverwood, does the price of wood (buying and selling) go down? If I grab all the wheat I can and sell it to a farm outside of Whiterun does the price of wheat go down at Whiterun and go up in all the farms I took the wheat from?

I know before Skyrim came out there was talk of things like this happening, but I haven't seen it yet. For example I've sold lots of minor gems to the store in Whiterun, but I have not noticed him dropping his price.

Is this something that just never made it into the game?

Thanks.

It was cut, but hopefully they'll keep working on the system and we'll get it next time.

Probibally just as well, but I could see how the system could have been used to force players to seek out different vendors. If you just sold a bunch of an item to a certain vendor over and over his price could drop or maybe even refuse to buy the item and thus force you to find another place to sell the same item.

No big loss I guess but it would be cool if it could be added to a later game.

kind of funny how this concept is in old games like age of empires 2, but it wasn't implemented in this game; its not that hard to do :(
