Edit Werewolf Appearence

Post » Sun Jul 22, 2012 8:58 am

I know you guys are probobly thinking "I swear if this is another thread saying different species should look different as a Werewolf", but its not that.
I think there should be an ability to edit the appearence of your Werewolf. (possibly in future DLC). Like be able to change the color of the fur, and maybe select fur markings and stuff like that. Then you would feel like your own werewolf.

I wouldn't mind this being put in. It'd work better as having the facial colors and scars of the character carry over to the werewolf form, though.

Kinda like how you can add war paint, scars, etc when you build your initial character.

Nice idea but I honestly don't think they'll be dabbling in were-features any time soon. Or in the near future.

I would like that. I always wanted my werewolf fur to be similar to ice wolves.

Let me guess.....black and white like your panda pic there
I like the idea Lax but I really have my doubts that it will happen. If you ask me it should though, or at the least when you fill out the Lycanthrop tree and become a " master " werewolf your fur should become white or grey upon completion of the perk tree IMO. One can only hope that they will add more stuff for the werewolf and vampire but I don't think it's going to happen

I honestly think werewolves should remain the way they are when it comes to appearance.

That would actualy be pretty cool to customize you own werewolf to be unique in the pack
But what do you think of these ideas?
I've contacted Bethesda and surprisingly they responded.
This is what I presented to them:

Now before I propose to you some pretty awesome suggestions to add-on to the present Skyrim game; I would like to tell you of some problems that gamers have been having with Skyrim: Elder Scrolls.
The first problem was disappearing items ( such as Dragon Priest masks )that were stored in chests.
This was a major pain in the butt, which prevented many of us from getting the best out of the game
I even lost my Sanguine rose this way.
The next problem were quests that were pending and couldn't be completed; because people that were part of a quest were killed some how.
Also was the problem with Esbern's quest who wanted me to get him a dragon bone and scale.
When I brought it to him, nothing happen.
Urog wanted me to bring him a copy of The Wild Elves.
I have the copy as a quest item from some time ago while playin the game; but he doesn't accept it, and when I follow the arrow to where it is, it isn't where it suppose to be.
Naturally!
Because I have it already!
These are just a few problems that many on youtube and other websites have mentioned.
Last, anyone that is significant for a quest can't be killed unless all the quests for that person is done.
NOW FOR THE FUN!
Everyone is facsinated with Vampires and warewolves, and to put it in Skyrim was just sweet.
However, it would be GREAT if you all did this; make it possible for us to build our own Vampire coven. You all at Bethesda Game studios only allow us to have one follower; but what if we can have up to 12 followers?
Right now I have three people in my house in Markoth;Marcurio, (my follower ), Serana ( who just started following me and Marcurio while we were in the castle of Volkihar, and my housecarl.
Ever sence then she has been following me and Marcurio.
So what if we can have up to twelve followers, and if you are a vampire Lord, can turn them also into vampires and dress them and arm them with cool vampire attire and weapons ?
And when you sier then, you can custoymize them with the magic you have; commanding them to do numerous tasks and quests that involve killing someone; be it human or other vampires that have betrayed the coven.
You can send them out to do WHATEVER and they will come back to your castle or house and report back to you; because you're the Vampire lord.
If you get cured then they go back to normal.
Humans can NEVER suspect you to be a vampire if you are wearing a hood or mask ( like in Blood Omen ) unless you reveal yourself to be a vampire.
If any or your menions get killed, then they would respawn in a year and you can turn them again.
You can turn ANYONE you like, no matter who it is.
The glowing eyes are awesome.
Last but not least..Vampire lord can jump from the ground to a high place and fly...not hover.
Other vampires can just jump high.
I wish I could show you My High Elf as a vampire.
He kinda reminds you of Kain or Raziel or blood Omen.
Hope you enjoyed these suggestions and decide to impliment them.
Now I write to you some implications that I forgot to mention in that last letter I wrote to you.
First, the invisible potions.
Let these potions remain throughout it's duration and not make the player visible when he touches something.
Second, when the player becomes invisible, he CAN NOT BE SEEN, even when he's in the middle of battle with some one.
When he becomes invisible, the enemy is in disarray, even if the player is holding an enchanted weapon, he can not be seen.
It's not fare that enemies can still beat the crap out of you even if they can't see you.
If it were possible in real life to become invisible; though you're standing right in front of the person attacking you that they would be able to find you after you've disappeared?
I don't think so!
This way you get to whale on the enemy and he just don't know where it's comin from.
Next, the enchantment of the Ebony Mail.
Let this be a power you can enchant on any armor or clothing the player desires to become a shadow in the darkness; whether it be Daedric armor, vampire armor, fine clothing or whatever.
Next, we have the perks.
One major problem that Skyrim fans have had was that fact that the can only level up t 81, and that there were large amount of perks that couldn't be unlocked because of this.
Will you install an add-on so we can unlock these perks to enjoy the abilities our character will posses?
Next a new add-on "War Of The Vampires and Ware Wolves".
It's hard to believe that the only warewolves that exist are the ones of the Companions in Whiterun.
So let there be a war that they fight, but you can turn whoever you want into a vampire to fight with you if you choose to be a vampire...or if you enjoy being a warewolf, fight for the side of the warewolves.
Next, 4 enchantments per item to make the most powerful weapon or armor! One problem that a lot of player are facing is that in a lot of the towns and cities, the people are dead because the guards killed them when they ere attacking us for being a vampire.
This is why I said to let our identety be secret by waring a hood or mask so that this won't happen again.
will you install something for gamers on XBox or PC to respawn ALL enemies and people that were oringinaly in the game?
This would probably enable us to complete quests and reattain lost items.
Last but not least, let the enchantment level be higher than 35% and 40 points.
This would allow us to make more powerful armor and have greater spells and magic.
Thank you for reading this letter and I hope you were inspired to do this and greater things.

Werewolves have naturally different colors, so it makes sense to add that feature.

Laxador's seen this but I thought of a scenario to get Beast Blood:

The Devs could input either another mission like Ill met by Moonlight and just grant you beast blood at the end or follow a scenario like this (copy/pasted from a previous comment of mine on thread 8):
Maybe after you join the Circle or did the whole Companion quest line, one of the pack smelled your (strange or tainted since its not 'true' blood of the wolf) beast blood and reported it to the Alpha (or current leader) who makes plans to meet the Dovakiin. Sometime before the day of the full moon a courier hands you a letter from 'your brother/sister' asking you to meet him/her at *insert name of place* at *time*, all will be explained...

Scene
Courier: I have a letter for you. Its from your brother/sister.
"Brother/Sister, I wish to speak with you to discuss certain matters. Meet me at name of place during the *date* of *month*. All will be explained. -Brother/Sister.

Dovakiin approaches *place*, men women and wolves emerge (sort of like Vulpes Inculta and the Legionaires in Nipton from Fallout:New Vegas) with your 'brother/sister' the last to appear.
Alpha: Good evening my *sister/brother*, I see you received my message, that is good. There are things we must discuss before our time is up....

Eventually leading the Dovakiin to find out they're a pack of wolves who traveled from Solstheim searching for potential packmates and new territory. They inquire about your strange scent/blood after a few conversations the moons change them leaving you to ponder your discussion. After searching for them, the leader will ask you to perform tasks, some quests with them to test your prowess and abilities leading up to being able to join the pack thus (maybe) doing more quests/hunts etc etc...

(I started think of this in the "Werewolves" thread in the Dawnguard spoilers section, they're arguing about the Companions being a Fighters Guild and Wolf Guild.)

I was making a joke about how it would be implimented, not talking literally. :P

But really, I'd love this if Bethesda would do it.

I would really like to see some customizable features for the werewolf form, especially to have those beautiful red and grey markings of the http://naturespressbooks.com/data/images1/sn136.jpg

It would be best, if when you are first made a werewolf you could then determine what colours your fur and eyes, etc, would be. Or it could be automatically determined by what your character looks like, as mentioned before here, but then you wouldn't have as much controle; although that method would probably allow for more variation between werewolf NPCs as well, and they would all be unique.

Yes. I like this idea. I always thought it was strange for your character to me blind in one eye but have it mysteriously healed when you turned into a Werewolf.

That makes perfect sense, when you change your organs and bits are all rearranged for the beast form, it would repair whats damaged as you changed. As far as I can remember being a werewolf is sposed to keep you " fresh " ( for lack of a better term ), you heal fast then a normal person would etc...etc... The beast blood fixes you as you change, the weird part is that you don't keep that fix when you revert. If you start with a dead eye, become a werewolf and change, your eye is repaired, you revert, your eye remains fixed is what I'm saying....

edit : look to lour and movies, there's always a scene where the person is shot but as he/she changes the bullet is pushed out and the wound healed.
